Adhara still wasn't feeling better, but the loneliness hadn't been helping her in the least. Every few minutes a tech would come to talk to her for a little bit as they took blood or checked her IV drips or anything like that. When she was lucky, about once a day, Bree would come in to help her change her clothes and wash her hair, which was her release for the day. Otherwise, she would sit on her side and stare blankly out the window, or she would just be sleeping. Typically, most techs would run in while she was asleep and get things done fast. Unfortunately for them, the preteen was experiencing insane mood swings nearly all the time, and no one ever seemed to know if they would catch her in a good mood.

Luckily, today she'd been feeling alright, good enough even to request a bowl of ice cream from one of the technicians, and was now waiting for it. Given the current size of her ever-expanding stomach, it was a bad idea for her to lie on her back, and the gurney that she'd been sleeping on was tipped up from the middle, fashioning itself into a sort of chair. Adhara tapped on her belly gently, amber eyes watching it for signs of life, a slight smile on her face. Even her tentacles were slowly coming back to life with the food and vitamin supplements that were being fed to her through tubes and capsules. She sighed happily. Maybe the pregnancy would be bearable for the last couple weeks after all...

Almas was finally both back on his feet and allowed to be there, his doctor having allowed him to leave his bed with a clean bill of health. The man warned him that if he pushed to hard he'd end up back there again anyway which wasn't something he looked forward to himself. He was going to try his best to keep from getting sick again though he didn't want to lose his job either.

There was a lot of paper work that he'd found after getting up that he found himself curious about, wanting to look into. So there were two spawn that were having babies according to the records in the Doctor's files. It was strange, to think that they were having babies already. Looking over the records he found that both of the spawn having children were Lust blooded. He wasn't exactly surprised but at the same time didn't like to assume about such things.

That one of the two that were having a baby were male though... that was a shock. He wondered how much about all of this Vampy knew... the only reason Almas knew was because of the files that the Doctor had. He wasn't supposed to know much anymore since he was no longer trusted by the boss, was kept out of his office, away from the files. He gave a shake of his head as he started down the hall to the room that they had Adhara staying in. He wanted to peek in on her, see how she was doing since they had met on a couple occasions.

The Fallen lifted his hand up to knock before he peeked inside, "Adhara?"

It wasn't long before one of the techs brought her the food she'd been waiting for, and she thanked him graciously, letting him go do whatever it was he'd been doing before she'd flagged him down the first time. She ate her chocolate ice cream and cut strawberries happily, chuckling a bit at where she was and the fact that she could still get ice cream and fresh strawberries. Briefly, she even wondered if they'd taken it from one of the other tech's lunches, but dismissed the thought with a giggle. Well, they were the ones who were into this field of bizarre study, weren't they?

"Some sacrifices must be made~" she hummed to herself, Reena patting her belly gently before wrapping it in a hug. She continued humming, going into the tune of a song she couldn't remember the name of, the bowl balancing perfectly atop her stomach, her fingers drumming across her stomach gently. She had a few more bites of her ice cream before she heard a tap on the door, calling a 'come in' through it, amber eyes brightening at the person who came through the door.

"Almas!! Hi!!" she exclaimed happily, putting her ice cream on a stand beside her bed and pushing herself up as best she could into a relative sitting position and grinning brightly at the male. "Gosh, aside from Bree, you're the first friendly face I've seen in so long," she sighed melodramatically, giggling a bit. "I'd be hugging you right now, but, as you can see, I'm a bit tied up at the moment."

Almas looked her over in a slightly surprised manner before he walked over to pull up a seat that was nearby so that he could sit with her. He gave a her a look over and then a smile, "I was surprised hearing that you were hearing so I had to come to check in on you, see how you were doing."

It was a bit shocked to see that she was in this condition. Sure he knew about it from what he'd read but at the same time seeing it was another thing. He gave her a smile before he reached a hand out to pat her on the hand, "How are you doing? Do you need anything?"

Adhara chuckled a bit and smiled; it seemed she was all-smiles today, just as she had been before the pregnancy. The only difference was that she couldn't really go find anyone to bother in this state, and contented herself with lying back and waiting for someone interesting to pop up. Thankfully, Almas had come at the perfect time. She wasn't upset, or homesick, or anything of the like. She was happy and had ice cream, and now had one of her good friends as well.

"I've been doing alright. Nah, I don't need anything, though," she said, chuckling a bit. "I've got what I need, and I'm kinda just glad for the company now," she added, smiling a bit and fluffing her wings up behind her, a few loose feathers dropping from them. "What about you and Luthor? How have you two been doing recently? Oh, and Pepper, too?"

"I hope the Techs are doing well in taking care of you." He didn't like them or trust them but hoped they were doing what they were supposed to do in the care of the young lady and her baby. He wasn't a fan of violence in the least but would become a fan of it if they weren't nice to Adhara.

"I am doing much better, had a little cold. Luthor was good in taking care of me and Pepper both while I was sick." His son was far to well behaved for a little kid that it almost worried him some days. He should be out playing and causing trouble not looking after people.

Adhara chuckled almost nervously, smiling a bit at the comment. "Well, they did ignore me for a little bit, all except for Bree; she's the one who was specifically assigned to my case by Vampy. That... was until I kinda left my room and went off on one of them 'cause I really wanted, like, that weird, boxed, pasta-stuff that's made with hamburger meat and doesn't usually taste very good, but something in me wanted it. Aaa lot," she said, reminiscing and giggling a bit. She was almost glad at that point that she was part demon. The reason they rushed was probably the fear that had been instilled by the fact that pregnant demonesses typically fed on raw flesh, as well as the fetus, itself, which would otherwise attempt to consume its hostess. And, oh, the fit that Vampy would have been in if that happened...

"Ah, well. Happens to the best of us; I'm glad that you're doing better, though." She blinked curiously, tipping her head. "You take care of Pepper, too? And what was wrong with him that had Luthor looking after the both of you...?" Adhi asked with a surprisingly motherly concern, Niita reaching out to lay gently on Almas' knee comfortingly as he knew how.
