hm i didnt read da manga but manga is black n white but anime has colours so i think aniem has a better ending

I think manga has a better ending it like transmit more feelings than anime, anyways as for being colorfoul isn't so required just you need to have a clear a perfect imagination trained from reading lots of books <3
But anyway it is just my opinion~ ninja
