The Story of Four Friends by Star of the North

Twenty years before Harry Potter entered Hogwarts for the first time, four young men had made that self-same journey. Twenty years before Harry Potter there were the Marauders. Most of my fave fics are Remus/Sirius and I don't suppose that most of you would want to read those. Hmm, I'll come back to this thread later...There's two fics that I definitely want to mention, but I've got to look up the links, and a few more fics to list here while I'm at it!

All of these are completed HP fics that I think anyone and everyone would enjoy because they're original, well-written, and don't have any pairings.Scribbles

Summary:
Takes place in HBP. When the Marauders found out that Lily was pregnant James, Lily, Sirius, and Remus all wrote Unborn Baby Harry a letter that he was supposed to get to read when he turned 16. Well, in book 6 Harry is 16, so Remus gives him the letters. Harry reads them and gets to find out more about his dead parents and godfather, and Remus too.
Min's Note:
James and Sirius obviously had some funny content in their letters, so the fic will make you laugh, but it'll probably make you cry too because it's really heartwarming, and a little sad since they're all dead. heart

I really enjoyed the characterization the author put into some of the less featured characters of the series, and their conversation/dialogue works wonderfully. If you enjoy reading Marauder Era fics, you'll enjoy reading this even if the main characters we think of for that era are only discussed.
