A large spacious dojo chamber made specifically for all ranges of combat. The walls are white and decorated with all sorts of weapons and crests. This is used for training with the captain and vice captain as well as for shikai training bankai training and of course seating selections will also be settled here. You can also use this dojo to spar with friends or settle bets if you do that sort of thing.

The chamber just brought back painful memories for Neppa. This is where he gained his Shikai, where he gained his Bankai, where and Qastor became friends. With a sigh, he moved to his knees in front of the alter in the center of the room. Lighting some incense, he retied the chain around his wrist and waited there for Tokuzen to show up.

Tokuzen arrived not long after Neppa did so. He looked around for a while, since he hadn't been there in such a long time. Things looked different, smaller, in a way.
"Hey. Shall we get started?"
He asked. Tokuzen found himself rather impatient. He knew there'd be a lot of work involved, and wanted to get it over with. Hopefully his Bankai would be strong enough, so that the whole ordeal would be worth it.

Neppa felt his his student enter. He was still a little on edge, but he was sure he could still help Tokuzen through this all. There were certain guidelines that were to be followed in this form of training, so Neppa had it a bit easier than he thought it would be. Taking a deep breath, he bowed, exhaling as he went down, then stood up and about faced, looking at Tokuzen. "The first part of your training is to prove that you know how to fight with your Zanpakutou. This fight will be conducted with a Shikai stage Zanpakutou and all your abilities can be used freely." Now were to begin the formalities. First he motioned towards the two tatami that were slightly different than the rest on the floor, outlined in white, projecting that they were starting points for formal matches. Taking his spot, Neppa waited for Tokuzen to move to his, to which they would then bow. After this, Neppa moved to a drawing position, right hand on the hilt of hi Zanpakutou, left on the scabbard. "As you are the trainee, you must prove to me you are ready. The test begins after your draw your Zanpakutou."

Tokuzen didn't hesitate to oblige, stepping over to the tatami as ordered. He would bow when Neppa did, and draw his zanpakuto immediately afterward.
As he bowed, he remembered the last time he fought Neppa, years ago. It was a rather embarrassing defeat at Neppa's hands. He shook his head in an attempt to dismiss the thought. He was ready now.
"Let's do it. .....Awaken...Zorya."
He said simply.
He pointed his blade straight upward, towards the ceiling, and it glowed a bright white for a brief moment, before giving off a black glow. It was dusk outside. Zorya floated out of his hands for a brief moment as it changed form, and once the glow subsided, a naginata found itself in Tokuzen's arms.
Tokuzen would waste no time spinning around and aiming a slash across Neppa's neck.

"Light them up, Netsujyoubi," Neppa began as Tokuzen charged. He hoped that Tokuzen had gotten a little more ferocious than he last remembered. So as he drew Netsujyoubi from the scabbard, sparks shooting up and out as the Zanpakutou left the scabbard, changing shape. Seeing Tokuzen's strike, Neppa drew the blade up and out, angling it go guard his neck while safely moving the blade away. After clearing the blade, he twisted the sword around, moving Tokuzen's nagita up and around and to the opposite side. Following the motion, Neppa sent a punch over at Tokuzen's face, something light a simple to get the blood pumping.

After hearing the shrill sound of the metal clashing, Tokuzen mightily pulled back his naginata, which appeared as if it were fleeing from battle.
Once his polearm was recovered, he held the pole part of it in front of Neppa's fist, moving slightly to the left, then the right, so that the pole would connect with Neppa's wrist before contact was made with Tokuzen's face.
The pole would knock Neppa's fist away from Tokuzen's face ever so slightly, and the fist would continue just by it. Tokuzen would take advantage of this, and raise his knee with savage force, aimed at Neppa's ribs.

"Nice counter." Neppa was actually interested in this fight now. Tokuzen was thinking clearly and was working well. With his fist going by Tokuzen's head, he bent his arm at the elbow then moved his arm in, sticking Tokuzen's neck in the crook his his elbow. Pulling in, he moved Tokuzen's towards his own as he moved his in. He wouldn't mind the knee to the chest too much, if it did connect, then that would head his head would too.

Tokuzen was the type of person who was willing to take a hit in order to deal a hit of his own. Once Tokuzen's knee connected with Neppa's chest, he saw Neppa's head approach him, and soon felt a blunt pain in his forehead.
Neppa would be sent back by the force of Tokuzen's knee, and Tokuzen would be sent back by the force of Neppa's head. He would spin around, and swing his naginata with both hands, before raising his arms and bringing the naginata down in an arc, which would, if not dodged, undoubtedly split Neppa in half.

Neppa released Tokuzen after the headbutt to minimize the amount of pressure his knee could receive, though it did sent Neppa back some. Regaining his stance after a few hard breaths, he raised his sword to block Tokuzen's horizontal strike, though there wasn't one. Luckily, it brought his chain within easy reach for Tokuzen's next move. With a side step and a toss of the chain, Neppa wrapped the chain around his left hand and the naginata right where the blade met the shaft. Pulling it back, making Tokuzen move towards Neppa, he swung down to strike Tokuzen in the shoulder.

Before Tokuzen knew it, he felt a pull on his naginata. He stumbled forward, and as he looked up, he saw Neppa's blade about to descend upon him. He had very little time to act.
While still holding on to his polearm, Tokuzen shifted to the right, just enough to dodge the blade. Once he safely avoided the blade, he pulled on his polearm with great force and leapt into the air simultaneously. This would cause Tokuzen to move even closer to Neppa, in order for Tokuzen to execute a kick, aimed at his chest.

Part of Neppa's plan worked, but Tokuzen had gotten a little lighter on his feet over the years and dodged the strike. The next move made him chuckles a bit as Tokuzen tugged at Neppa. Not wanting to cut himself, he let go of the pole of the naginata and watched as Tokuzen moved to jump and kick him in the chest. The smirk returned and he decided how Tokuzen would react to a little heat. So he brought up Netsujyoubi in front of him and laid out the flat side for Tokuzen's foot to land on, keeping the blade stable with a hand of his own against the back. The heat of the blade wouldn't effect Neppa, seeing as it was his own Zanpakutou, but he was sure that Tokuzen would find it a little too hot to stay on for too long.

((Ah, I remember when it only took me 18 minutes to post...)) Tokuzen didn't stay on Neppa's blade long enough to feel the heat. Once his foot connected with the blade, he pushed off of it, which sent him a few yards back. Once he landed, he stood up and stared Neppa down for a brief moment.
In almost that same instant, Tokuzen charged in Neppa's direction, before slamming the shaft of his naginata on the ground, causing Tokuzen to be launched into the air. By twisting his body, he was able to bring his polearm with him. This cause the polearm to descend on Neppa at a forty-five degree angle, starting with his right shoulder.

Neppa went back to his basic stance after Tokuzen pushed off. He seemed to know what he was doing with his Zanpakutou, though he remembered that Tokuzen actually had three different possibilities. Neppa shrugged it off and was thinking about ending this soon, Tokuzen proved to be a worthy combatant with his Zanpakutou. As Tokuzen came down with the strike, Neppa dodged it, moving with the strike for a clean miss, and launched a Flame Wheel at Tokuzen, slashing from the lower left to his upper right, then walked towards Tokuzen behind it.

Tokuzen's body continued to twist as he missed his target, and descended towards the ground. He wouldn't stay that way for long however, as he lodged the blade of his naginata into the ground in order to gain leverage so he could slow his descent. This gave him a little time to maneuver so that he could land on his feet, and it appeared to be just in time.
As he landed on his feet, Neppa was on the attack, sending a Flame Wheel in Tokuzen's direction. From his memory of their fight several years ago, he realized that Neppa always followed his Flame Wheel, usually with an aim to surprise attack him.
Tokuzen shifted to the right as he spun counterclockwise to gain momentum for his naginata. If Neppa was where Tokuzen thought he was, his polearm would slice him across his mid section, starting with his right side.
