As of the last few months, some people have been going around saying they're Akatsuki. I regret to inform you, this is not true.
In this guild, no one is Akatsuki unless :
A.) You are an original Akatsuki member
B.) You pass the 'Akatsuki Tryouts'
So, to lessen the confusion, please refrain from saying these accusations.
Along with this, I'd like to bring up that those who claim to be a certain Akatsuki member, should also refrain. Unless you play the character, don't go around and say you are them.
