Personality: If someone close to Koizumi was to pick one word that described him, incredibly shy. However to strangers, they would think that the boy was a bit of a grouch, considering all his odd habits: shooting glares at everything, not meeting anyone’s eyes, refusing to speak, or if forced, he would just end up grumbling something out. Although, the truth is that he’s just plain bashful, self-conscience, and has low self-esteem. While he may seem anti-social to people, once Koizumi is able to warm up to someone, small cracks of smiles might appear. While he would talk more than he normally would, he still prefers being a listener. Also, Koizumi has an immense fear of fire, and is uncomfortable around the color red.

Physical Description: With his small stature and baby face, it’s sometimes bewildering to think that he’s actually fourteen instead of being a few years younger than that. He had dark azure hair with black roots that awkwardly stick out in some places. Usually, his mouth is set in a thin line, the corners occasionally twitching upwards or downwards. He does whatever he can to avoid showing his odd shark-like teeth. Dirty pieces of linen are clumsily wrapped around his left eye to avoid seeing with it, as he could only see the color red through that eye. The clothes he averagely wears are usually about four sizes too big for him, as they are all hand-me-downs. They mostly consist of a dark formal attire that looks like it’s made for a funeral. Strangely enough, he’s grown used to them. Koizumi seems to have a depressing air around him as he’s always having some sort of gloomy expression on his face while his head is hung low.
Cross: (Not Acquired) He has a simple and silver cross that is slightly pinched in the center.
Bow Appearance: Koizumi uses just a plain reflex bow that takes on a light blue hue. (( Ugh. Sorry. My imagination isn’t taking me that far when it comes to Quincy stuffers… ))

Bio: Koizumi was born in a slightly large family that consisted of his parents and three siblings, Aoi, Azure, and Ame. At first, he was content with his simple life, but that’s when things began going wrong one by one. It all started out with his earliest memory of his father. Although it was a bit foggy, the disappearing back of his father remained clear in his mind as he left his sobbing mother and oblivious children behind.
After that, Koizumi slowly watched his mother become deranged with the stress of having her beloved leave her and the stress of raising four children on her own, yet at that time, all he knew was that ‘Mommy isn’t the same anymore because Daddy went away for a while.’ However, she still persisted in taking care of them all, but eventually, she snapped. It happened one night, as he was tucked in along with his siblings and sleeping soundly, Koizumi has woken up from a frightening nightmare and went to seek out his mother in comfort.
Instead of whom he hoped to find, he quickly found himself surrounded by a sea of embers. He had no clue what was going on, and did the only logical thing that made sense to him; to just cry. Never had he felt so terribly confused in his life. There was pain everywhere, and no one had tried to help him. The beam that was supporting part of the house above him was cracking, warning him of what his fate might lead to if he remained underneath it, but it went unheard of. The beam crashed down upon him, and all went black. This horrible accident happened to Koizumi at the tender age of four.
When he woke up, he found himself in a hospital. Gauze was wrapped on various parts of him, but was mostly focused on his left eye. When asked about this, a doctor had gently explained as best as he could to a child that he had damaged, but the doctors managed to fix it. However, his eyesight would be permanently distorted in some way. When trying to press about his family, the doctors gave no hint about hearing those persistent questions.
He wanted to know what had happened to family, why they hadn’t showed up once while he was stuck here, and why was so many strange things kept happening to him lately; like hearing voices from out of nowhere, his vision getting blurry when looking in a certain direction, and the abnormal chills he got at times. Eventually, a strange yet familiar man who came to visit him answered his pleas. It had turned out that it was his mother who had set the house to flames, that his family ended up dieing from either smoke inhalation or burning to crisps, leaving him to be the only survivor, and that he was now in the care of his now appearing father.
While the man had harshly raised him, he also taught Koizumi only basic information, but he didn’t mind. At least, in a way, that there was still a family member alive to be with him. A decade later, his father had had passed, but not before telling him to find a group of Quincy…
