The day was quite the dreary one, the sky dark and filled with grey, angry clouds, thunder and lightning crackling from within them, just waiting to open up and let rain pour out. Today was a day on which many people would usually stay in, just snuggle up against the fire, keep warm and drink a hot coco or coffee, maybe even read a book. Though one particular individual wasn't inside, in fact she was walking happily along the side of a long, winding dirt road, a large, hand woven green back strapped to her shoulder. What exactly was in it was only known to her, though the bag gave her the look of a traveler, the way she was clothed sort of adding to that idea. Though this was very true, she was a traveler, to be more precise a traveling performer. This lady was Raphaela, she was quite the tall woman, standing at 5'7 and with quite the pretty face, slim features with large greenish blue eyes, that matched her light tan quite well. Her hair was a nice purpley brown hue and tied into a wavy side ponytail, her long bangs almost covering her left eye. Upon her head were two, tall black horse like ears and perched upon her back were large, almost raven like, equally black wings, with a log black tail upon her rear. The first thing that would come to someone's mind would be 'Pegasus' and indeed that was correct, she was a Pegasus.
The garments she wore were quite odd, upon her upper half was a white and green undershirt, a slit within the middle of the fabric to reveal her midriff. Upon the shirt she wore a short, long sleeved slate grey jacket that tied neatly in he middle. Upon her lower half she was clad in black trousers and a lighter black over skirt. To top her outfit off she wore a green choker, two silver bracelets, a pinkish red fingerless glove, a silver halo above her head and a greenish blue gem upon her forehead, though it wasn't really known on whether that was part of her outfit or apart of her. All in all her garments complimented her rather boyish, slender body quite well, albeit how odd they were.
Where exactly Raphaela had come from was many places, having traveled all over, not staying in one place for a large amount of time, always on the move. Though as to where she was born was a small part in Italy, her mother Italian while her farther foreign, not that she really knew her father, hell she didn't know who he was at all. She just guessed that when she was borne that he decided to clear off, not that she minded all that much, it in fact gave her the idea in the first place to travel. Though this did make her feel quite bad about leaving her mother, not wanting to think that she was abandoning her like her father had, though oddly enough her mother seemed fine with it, well at least she seemed fine with it, whether it was genuine was unknown. Another reason Raphaela wanted to travel was to spread her preforming around the world, wanting to learn knew things and sharpen her skills. The bad thing about it was that she never stayed in one place long and never made an effort to make friends or even make a relationship, to dream driven to really stop and think 'hey why not try to socialize? You may like it.' Instead the only thing she chose to think of was her preforming, though if something ever came along and pulled her away from it for just awhile, then it'd be a miracle. Not that she never felt lonely, that feeling was quite familiar to her, yet she never chose to do anything about it, a pity really.
Hauling her bag off from her shoulder she plopped it down upon an old, stone wall by the roadside, choosing to rest for a while before continuing on her journey, to where she wasn't sure, but for now she wouldn't worry about it ''What dark weather.'' She mumbled, lifting a narrowed gaze up towards the sky, watching as vast amounts of dark clouds floated by, just waiting for the right moment to open up and release a good 'ol amount of rain. Her nose wriggled as she shifted her eyes down to look around at the scenery, although the day was quite horrible the scenery looked lush and beautiful, bright, rich greens, brilliant blues and sharp reds that just seemed to pop when you looked at them. It gave the Pegasus female a lift of spirits to see the heart warming colors, it sort of brightened her feelings about the day and about the amount of time she had been walking, a good few hours, of course with some rests, but a few hours nonetheless. So a rest was well needed, just what the doctor ordered according to Raphaela.

Raphaela's brows pulled together in amazement as she watched a bird like, short woman totter along the road, she seemed to be late or just wanting to get somewhere quick before the rain started. It was quite amusing watching her run around, from what Raphaela could hear she seemed to be saying something along the lines of 'oh no' or 'not good, well whatever it was she wasn't going to get anywhere quickly. A brow raised as the Pegasus female noted the clothes the woman was wearing, wasn't she cold? Mind you she did look very nice in them, they complimented the color of her skin, feathers and eyes, and altogether they worked well. They sort of gave her a cabaret dancer look, though whether that's what she did for work was unknown to Raphaela.
Raphaela winced at the sound of someone falling, her dark ears perking forward and a shudder going down her back. One moment the woman was walking and the next she was on the floor, her hands and knees upon the ground to brace her fall. The Pegasus female didn't move at first, just wondering on whether it'd be OK to help her up, but then again she doubted the other woman knew she was even there, oh well she decided to go help after all. Pushing up from the wall she stretched her legs and large wings then set off towards the fallen woman, once there she reached a hand out and gripped her by the arm slowly pulling her upwards then taking a look at her, her gaze falling upon the woman's scraped knees. She said nothing, instead she just released the bird like female, knelt down, pulled two items from her bag and set to work. The items were a water bottle ad bandages, you couldn't be to careful when traveling alone so these time of essentials were a must. Using the water she poured it over the other female's legs, cleaning the cuts of any dirt ad cleansing them so that they wouldn't get infected, then with the bandages she wrapped them around the woman's knees to help the wounds heel, though not before ripping any fabric away from the wounds, not wanting to let them stick to the scraps, which would hurt like hell if they did.
Once done she got up, bowed her head then stepped back, swinging her bag back over her shoulder, giving the woman one last look over then setting off in the direction of the town ''Your welcome.'' She finally shouted back, lifting a hand up and then waving goodbye to the other woman. Her large wings flapped as a gust of wind maneuvered through her feathers, a light shiver running up her spine, she could tell that rain would soon come and hoped that she'd be inside somewhere when that happened.

Raphaela chuckled as she played the woman's words back in her mind, it was funny how some people mistook her for a feminine man at times, though mind you the way she acted didn't exactly help all that much either, but it was still amusing, plus she didn't mind, they all seemed to find out that she was in fact a female in the end ''A bit klutzy isn't she.'' She mumbled to herself, her dark fingers curling around her bag strap, pulling it off her shoulder to switch arms, giving her shoulder a rest for a while. Her large wings extended out at the sound of cracking thunder and the feel of a few rain drops pattering upon her cheeks, moving them upwards she placed them above her head, using them as a sort of umbrella, of course her feathers would be useless for flying for a few hours but right now if she chose to fly the whole of her would get drenched so why not just let one part of you get soaking rather than the whole of you?
Her shoes clicked against the hard dirt road as her tail flicked from side to side, her attention set on getting to the town, though her gaze quickly caught sight of another figure, causing her to stop in her tracks and take a look. Her sea green gaze squinted as she looked up and down at the new figure, at first she thought woman, but as she got a better look it turned out to be a rather feminine looking man, with dog like features, long fluffy ears, at least she thought they were his ears and a long, equally fluffy tail. She pondered a moment then lifted a hand up and pointed behind herself with her thumb towards the bird female, before shouting out to the male ''You know her?'' She asked, just wondering, slightly worried that if he wasn't that the female would hurt herself once more and wouldn't even get to the town before the rain started. The thought made Raphaela cringed, she wouldn't be happy with herself if that happened, so decided to linger around a bit for the male to answer.
Raphaela blinked in amazement as the sound of the thunder caused the other woman to jump, one she was a bit of a klutz and two she was jumpy, not the best combination when out on a day like this. Now Raphaela was rather worried for the bird woman's well being, if she carried on like this then she'd definitely get hurt again or just really wet...and of course more scared. Heaving a sigh she grumbled at herself, running a hand through her thick hair as she decided to stay put and wait for the woman to reach as far as the dog like male before maybe helping her again, that was if the canine male didn't know her ''She seems a tad accident prone so I'd be ready to run and catch her.'' She shouted to the male once more, her eyes narrowing slightly, her wings flattening back down and against her back, tensing up, ready to spring into action if necessary.

''Right..'' She sighed, a quiet grumble escaping her lips, one she was worried for the woman's well being and two she was late, not that she needed to get anywhere, she just had a set schedule when traveling and liked to stick to the schedule as much as possible but it seemed that that wouldn't be happening today. It would be her luck that the canine male didn't know the white feathered female and that the rain had started, but oh well sometimes luck just wasn't with you on some days. Her gaze narrowed more, stepping forward slightly, her spine tingling as she felt more drops splashing upon her cheeks, into her hair and upon her clothes, beginning to turn the dirt road muddy. It'd most likely ruin the bird woman's clothes if she fell again, not falling on dried dust but falling into thick mud.
She fallowed the other woman's movements, watching as she gasped as the rain fell upon her, looking around rapidly for places to take refuge, yet she still seemed as if she needed to get somewhere. Her long plumage flew behind her like a white banner, small feathers ever so often floating away from the group and falling, slowly towards the muddy ground, the pure white turning a dark brown hue. Raphaela's eyes widened as she watched the woman make a run for it, towards her and the canine male, passed them to towards the town. So far she seemed to be doing great, ever so often her legs looked like they'd buckle, but she looked like she'd be alright. Though the Pegasus was not taking any chances, unconsciously her hands would try and reach out, just ready to grab the woman if she fell, saving her from the fate of the ground.
The woman seemed to be talking to herself, coaching herself through the running, egging herself on, saying 'you can do it!', that was it looked like at least. Raphaela had no idea what she was saying, she could only guess. Without really known, something took over Raphaela, her gaze narrowed and her wings spread into a magnificent display, black feathers breaking from from her wings and falling onto the ground, the rain now pouring down on the three anthros. Her legs tensed for a minute then pushed off in a flash, sending her slightly into the air and strait forward towards the falling woman. Her arms moved beneath the other woman's chest, lifting her up before she could touch the ground, hurling them both into the cold, wet and windy air, though only for a minute, she soon returned to the ground, her hair now damp and flat against her face, her wings, lifting up and moving over the woman within her arms, covering her from the rain. It took Raphaela a moment to realise what she had done, a rather surprised expression moving across her features briefly ''Are you OK miss?'' She asked, slowly letting the white feathered lady down upon her feet, still keeping her wings hovered over her. Her sea green gaze shifted over towards he male, signaling him to come over with her eyes and if he wanted, he could shelter under her wings, I mean why not? She was sheltering one person already, why not two?

Raphaela froze as the bird woman clung to her, shuddering from the cold and damp and wincing at he sound of the thunder. The only thought that filled the Pegasus woman's mind was 'Oh dear this is awkward.' Slowly she moved a hand, warily up to the woman's head and patted it softly, reassuring her that all was OK ''It's fine, as long as your OK then that's good, that's the main thing.'' She smiled gently, slowly removing her hand from the woman's head and letting it flop back down by her side. Her gaze shifted back towards the canine male, slight worry and nervousness in her eyes. She wasn't used to this much contact, it was very odd to her, alien you could say, after all she traveled alone most of her life and never was one to make friends so this was a very unexpected turn of events. It was a rather funny sight looking at the woman that clung to her, indeed it wasn't exactly funny for her, but it was just different to see creature which normally had really fluffy feathers being so damp and dreary looking, rather like the weather.
Shaking her head slightly, she grumbled, lifting a hand up to move the hair out of her face so he could speak properly ''It's fine, no need to keep apologizing.'' She smiled weakly, patting her gently on the shoulder to reassure her once more. The other woman seemed to be quite a timid one and very apologetic at that as well as quite skittish. Raphaela blinked as she heard another crack of thunder, watching as the white feathered woman clung hard against her, as if to try and hide herself away from the elements, was she really this scared? She was rather like a small child in the way she hide from the thunder and lightning, it just made Raphaela's heart strings tug more, causing her to lift her hand back up and pat the woman upon the head once more, trying to make it all OK as best as she could.
Returning her attention back to the soaking male, shifting her wing slightly she held it over him ''Yeah I'm sure, I mean it isn't very good for flying at the moment, might as well as use it like this and I think you'd preferably be remotely dry than just wet and maybe getting sick?'' She asked, raising a dark brow, her tanned nose wriggling as she witched he gaze from the male and back to the woman, ever so often shifting her gaze between them.
