Who is your favorite White Hand member that you have seen so far?
Tis the Samurai? The Gunslinger? The Little girl? The Messenger? (The female who teleports and brags about defeating Chaos.) Or Chaos? (You know you love me.)
---------------------------------------------------
Time for your guesses on what the White Hand's plans are. What do you think they are up to? And who do you think this "Master" is?

Not really fair to count Chaos. He's got more character development, and he's only there to betray them anyway.
Kinala's adorable, though. Creepy, but adorable.

Well, for what it's worth, I think I've gone on the record as extensively claiming--in-character, no less--that the White Hand has no discernible goal given available information. If they do have a goal, attempting to determine it would be pure guesswork at this point.
I'ma guess "world domination" and/or "petty revenge", depending on who the master is. Oh, or possibly "nihilistic desire to destroy all that lives". Or maybe he's attempting to commit enough atrocities to spawn a cosmic horror that embodies them? I played one once in another RP. I wonder if I should cameo that "other" Westly... nah....

Since this is an OOC thread I will bring up my grievance. Both Chaos and Althor have come to me about their trifle with the other. As such I have decided to become a moderator for the dispute. I will not tolerate any more bickering between the two of you. And as such when we talk, I only want cold hard facts and not a single mention of the other in any way that may be considered an insult. If it is, I will end up punishing that transgressor.
I wish you not to talk here at the moment, I want both of you to PM me a list of what your problem is with the other. When I am ready and have weighed the options, I will give you my next command.

I am not about to get into a big dispute about this. I'm going to put it simple, if Althor has issues with the way I run an event he doesn't have to be involved. Tis as simple as that, I am not playing games with this bullshit.

azureink I would hope that it wouldn't become a big dispute. Azure you should know my style by now. Anytime I want something changed or fixed I get everyone involved. So to put it simply since you wanted proof this will become a big dispute. As a mod, and one of the most highly respected and influential members of the guild you should of taken my voice over his. Yet you wanted to get me to list problems, so I will and I will do everything I can to solve those problems!

It matters not, I have most of Gaioh on my side and you must do what the guild mates think is best.

It seems from my PM discussions that there are a few problems to work on.
I will put these in the order I believe is most necessary to address first.
1) Chaos, as a mod and as a senior member of the guild, there is a certain level of ... restraint that one must adhere to. Members look to the higher ups in order to learn from the most responsible. As I have explained to you before, your anger management is not perfect and as such you end up lashing out even in the best of times. Althor is not the only one that I have seen you berate for something.
2) Althor, it has come to my attention from a few people that they do not like the fact that you play your character above your power level. I do have to agree that there are some logical concerns to this as I have watched many rp their character and not all go to the lengths you do, minus the entertainment value I derive from those rps.
3) This has a little to do with both of you, but pertains mostly to this event. Railroading in any form is quite discouraged and things like imprisonment, coming up with a new ability on the fly to deal with any situation, or any really overpowered ability in general should be agreed to by all parties involved for the sake of the rp enjoyment of all. RPing well is hard and it is encouraged that everyone works together in order to make the rp memorable to all in a good way.

In response to that...
1) I am an a** because I have to be. It is like bad cop, good cop. By being quick to lash I prevent people from trying to break or bend the rules. Giving more order to the guild.
2) Not touching it...
3) In this event things are being set up in a chain. Every overpowered foe is overpowered because that is what villains are. As it sits once one villain is defeated then another thing will come into effect. Everything they are doing is part of a giant chain! That and they walked into a well planned trap.

You can be a bad cop, but try to do so in a more courteous tone. I don't believe I was referring to the chain of events or the enemies involved so far, that is just how it is done. But it seems that Althor wasn't aware his character would be entrapt this way. Now most people in this guild would be ok with playing out the imprisonment, but he doesn't seem like one of those people... however it was also his fault for, if he didn't want this turn of events, moving so far ahead in the rp to put himself up for his just desserts. So mostly what it comes down to is that Althor needs to live with his decision, but Chaos needs to be more open to discussing with the players of the event how the event will unfold.

If I discuss what is going on then it ruins everything in my opinion. (This may sound as an insult but I know no other way of putting it.) However had he been smart enough to check the other topics he could see that the one were Aona, Manndar, and Kashin are at leads to Chaos's secret base. So I don't know... Maybe they might just come across that place and free him. I don't know... Or maybe he could of just PMed me and asked about it.

I had a number of points I was going to make, but for the sake of continued peace and harmony, I won't mention them. Well, okay, fine, I won't mention them here or now. Somewhere else and later. Maybe. Just one question: is it... really... that much of an issue if Westly manages to escape on his own? I mean, you didn't raise any complaint over any individual act he committed, so I assumed that your problem was that I thought he could escape at all. If you claimed that a specific instance of Westly doing something was impossible/out of line/overpowered/etc, we could discuss that. We could debate that. I could bring up points why I think it's possible, you could bring up points why you think I'm horribly mistaken, why you think I'm wrong, and we could otherwise debate the issue like gentlemen. You have instead expressed fairly... generic... dissatisfaction... with my attempt to escape as a whole, which led me to conclude that your problem was that I was trying to escape at all, that I should just sit there and wait like a good little Chuunin.
