Well, from who I know so far (I'm still very new here), many of the characters here are very interesting. And I want to know what they look like, now. So please post images of you characters. If you don't have an image of your character but you want one, LET ME KNOW!
I can draw your character FOR you! whether or not you already have a nice image. Because I like you, I'll charge 500 gold each? I dunno. Maybe 100 gold, 500 if it's a really hard to draw character or is a furry (I dont like those).
Let me know!

I draw my characters on occasion, but I'm perpetually ashamed of the fact that I never ink or color them, and that getting all the brilliant pictures in my head down on paper is like pulling hen's teeth out of a toad's mouth. I'm really not very good at arting. I only really draw them for their clothes, anyway.

Edit: Proof I'm overtired and need to hit the sack is when I turn down the chance to see my characters in someone else's art style. I'd be happy to pay 500 gold for a picture of, well, any of my characters, really. Since it's all pixelmoney, I might commission one of each of the main cast when I'm slightly more awake. I'll contact you with details, descriptions, color samples, etc. tomorrow.

If you want to see images of my characters, 1 2

I haven't posted any artwork in ages, though.

You have a pretty nice style. Out of curiosity, do you traditionally or digitally ink?

I'd be interested in some artwork. Do you prefer I PM you information, or just post it here?

I really like your lines for #1! I ink traditionally, but colour digitally.

You can contact me for it in whatever way is easiest for you. But PLEASE give me a deadline, otherwise, I'll never get around to doing it.

Oooh! I want one!

The character?

Senior Lieutenant Kora Naveli
Male, 19 years of age, obvious Native American (Go with Navaho if you need something specific here) features, black hair worn past shoulders in feminine style, reddish-brown skin, wearing the dress uniform of a fighter pilot with the Saori Federal Army Air Force, which I have not yet designed. Go with black with red trim and medals, please.

If you need more info on Kora, here is everything I have typed up so far:

Currently I'm working on a project revolving around Senior Lieutenant Kora Naveli, one of the best, if not the best, fighter pilots in the service of the Saori Federation Armed Forces. For Naveli I moved away from the old cocky fighter pilot stereotype in favour of something more interesting. First, she suffers from GID, or Gender Identification Disorder. Although Kora is physically male, she feels that she is really female, and just has the wrong set of genitals. As such, she much prefers to be referred to as a she. She also boasts feminine name (which she had legally changed) and hair style. Secondly, she is also an unmedicated sufferer of Bipolar Disorder. Another issue dogging her is fear of abandonment suffering from the fact that she remembers little of her parents (who disappeared when she was rather young). All she knows is that she came home from school one day and they were gone, and that her parents would never have willingly abandoned her. All she has of them is a pair of photographs, one of which is of Kora as an infant with both parents holding her, and the other is of both parents decked out in the equipment of a fighter pilot, which almost certainly influenced her decision to become a fighter pilot herself. She wants to find her parents, of course, but the likelihood of that happening is very low, and she knows it. Besides, she cannot afford to go looking for her parents, who may not even by alive, when the Salaadi are running roughshod over the Aven'ho provence. She needs to defend her nation. It's not like anyone else has the skills to do it.

Vitae
- Male
- 6'1"
- Black hair down to shoulder blades
- Green eyes
- Extremely pale skin
- Thin, but with a little muscle tone
- Left arm is actually mechanical, made of steel, and with only two joints in each finger instead of three
- Narrow facial features (thin lips, thin nose, narrow eyes), high cheekbones
- Wears all black (the outfit from the reference picture is what he wears for most of the story--before that, the shirt is replaced by a coat, sort of like this, except it only reaches about halfway down the thigh, has more buttons up the side, belts at the waist, and the collar doesn't have that bit that turns down. Or like this, but longer and, you know, made for a man. And no pocket or shoulder-thingies).
- Bandanna is blue
- Necklace is an oval amethyst cabochon with a silver back, hung on a silver chain
- Wears a knife on his belt, which I always neglect to draw
And if something would possess you to draw him shirtless, I have a whole reference sheet for all his scars.
- "Even in death he looked severe. Every feature of his face seemed narrow and angular, from his his high cheekbones to his thin lips—stern and not fit for smiling—and the stark contrast between his long black hair and pallid complexion. The effect was only emphasized by the high collar of his double-breasted black jacket. The rest of his clothes were black, as well, straight down to his knee-high boots, and if not for the splash of color provided by the folded blue bandanna that encircled his head as a headband, he would have seemed more like a sketch in black ink than a person."

Nathan
- Male
- 5'8", 5'10" if he's wearing high-heels. (Note: If he's not wearing high-heels, he's barefoot.)
- Unnaturally yellow-blonde hair, slightly curly, short and a little messy, save for two inexplicably longer strands in the front
- Blue eyes
- Normal complexion
- Thin, with a slightly feminine figure
- I've always described his features as "cat-like," but I have a hard time finding the words to explain what that means
- Dresses in fancy 1790s sorts of fashions, though with knee-high boots instead of those unsightly buckle-shoes and white stockings. He owns no white stockings, by the way. Mostly his stockings are yellow, but of course the boots cover those up.
- LACE.
- Wears a silver ring on his left ring finger
- Also wears a weird little dangly ornament in his hair--black cord with two small black beads bracketing a larger blue cat's-eye, and a feather on the end that might be a peacock feather.
- Wouldn't be seen dead wearing green; it makes him look like a dandelion.
- Nathan doesn't have a good descriptive quote yet because he has yet to show up in draft two and there are so many things wrong with his portrayal in draft one it's not even funny.

I have a decent picture of Yinda somewhere, but I haven't scanned or cleaned that yet. I've never drawn Sabine or Jericho beyond simple mugshots, and the picture of Sabine in her ballgown on my dA does not count because that's not her real hair.

I don't know what would be a reasonable deadline.

Very nice! Thanks for sharing!

@Limon, what style do you want of those listed above? I prolly wont get to it until you figure out the uniform and give me a due date!

Weeeell, I'd like Porter and/or Dave. The style you have posted in the thread is perfectly appropriate.

Just ask if there's anything I didn't cover.

Um, is about three months from now a proper deadline?

If you confirm what you'd like to draw, I'll start the trade.

Actually 3 months is a bit long, but I'll manage. somehow. I'm going to post my other styles, even if they arent of my characters, just as examples of style. Just so you know
