Coming down the stairs, you enter into what feels like a much different world than the first floor. While the upstairs was the pinnacle of classic elegance that every mansion tries to copy and refine, the basement is more modern in appearance with its dark earth tones and track lighting at random angles. Paintings in every modernistic syle hang throughout the basement adding just the right amount of aesthetic value to the walls. As you first enter the basement, though, the main thing you notice is how quiet it is. After all, there's supposed to be a martial arts dojo, a gun range, a night club, and a bar down here. That's when you remember that the Syndicate is easily wealthy enough to spend the few extra bucks to make the basement walls soundproof. Silly you.
