On the outside, likes many roads that are paved in light grey stone that all lead to this city like a spider web to its center. The city, no matter where one is coming from, greets its visitors with a large grey stone arch with a giant silver plaque nailed by bolts at the top of each arch saying "Welcome to the Royal City of Rubeus."
Starting from the outskirts of the Royal City, this is where the majority of common to poor citizens choose to reside. Neighborhoods of many types reside here, with many races from many areas, and many people who are Native to this rich town. The houses show many different sizes and shapes, although some may look the same due to similar architects building these houses. Houses of many ages and colors are seen, with many houses containing beautiful green grass and some people choosing to plant gardens outside or having trees. Walking in one of these neighborhoods give a joyful feeling of peace, as the generally friendly neighborhoods greet anyone who wish to reside here, and communicate together as a society for those who have lived here. Due to the outer radius of Rubeus being a residential area, there is not too much to see. If one wishes for excitement, they may go to the central part of Rubeus. They have many options to get there. There is the train station that lies in the residential area, for those who wish to get to the central city in an quick and easy manner, or some people can take the driving roads there, as well as a walkway.
In the central area of Lasterus, this is the area that most travelors, tourists, even the citizens, love the most about Rubeus. Also known as the heart and pride of Rubeus, the central city is a busy town filled with many lives, many stories and many ongoing actions. One can enter the usual busy areas, and hear the sounds of cars honking, people walking on the sidewalks, and traffic lights guiding the streets. Looking up one can see many good sized buildings. There is also the marketplace, where people of many nationalities, whether Kyentenese, Fredan or Oenian, these vendors have traveled far to gain business by many who are enchanted with exotic doo-dads and delicious delicacies. The marketplace surrounds the main attraction and best focal point of this large city, the Central Fountain. The Central Fountain is a elegant structure of porcelain color, but composed of marble. The water that is held in this fountain is as pure as the air around the city, and as clear as the sky on a sunny day. There are four angels in the center of the fountain made of the same white material as the fountain, standing on a round pedestal, pouring water into the fountain with pots.
Of course the best part is none other than the King's Castle. This embodiment of Royalty and Luxury is located in the northern part of the central area of Rubeus. This castle is guarded by tall, sturdy settlements of piked gates, all of them colored with the rich silver that truly matches the castle's appearance. Guards are seen on the exterior as well, near the gate where many can come visit the current monarch, King Lasterus the XVII. Those who are allowed to visit, which happens to be foreign leaders, Royal Embers, and special guests, are given access to talk in. The first thing seen upon entering the castle are a circle of beautiful fountains, with statues of angels in the center of the porcelain beauties. There is a large walkway dressed in a Royal Blue velvet carpet, accented with silver silk. Upon entering the castle, one sees the walls that go tall into the arched ceilings of light ash grey. There are light bulb lit lamps among the walls of the castle, that lead the King, Queen, and any visitors through the royal home upon nightfall. There is much to see in the castle, and many rooms occupy the space of the building. The main attraction itself is the throne room, where the King and Queen themselves are to be seated during the day. It is a sight to behold, as many ornates of silver line the onyx marble floors, and two silver maps are to the sides of the thrones.
