We already have. They're called GUNS. Guns are meant for killing people (usually) what is a zombie? A dead person. Fascinating right?

Fascinating right? very but what if they mutation occurs and they are not effective then what Then they're not zombies. They will always be effective because they are made of flesh which is easily destroyed by anything that can remove it! Like say... Bullets! I know this is hard to understand because you clearly came to this guild just thinking, "Zombies LAWL!!!!! Theyr thoose monsart thinsg i sauw ni a mvei one teim LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Have you ever even read the Zombie Survival Guide? Have you seen anything other than that s**t-ball House of the Dead? What are you doing here?

This isn't Resident Evil or Silent Hill dude. There won't be giant tentacle monsters coming out of labs. It's just a dead person that came back to life. Shoot it in the head with a normal gun. Think: when humans get injected with something, do they become super humans? No, they don't, and neither will zombies. If you roll around in radioactive waste will you grow extra arms? No you won't. If you can't do it, neither can zombies.

Actually mutation can occur when so many generations are exposed to radiation for so long. There have been many reports of extra limbs or even above avg births of children with the xyy chromosome which they do grow up to be aptly named "supermen". That extra y chromosome actually allows that person to have "super" strength, speed along with some other physiological aspects that we can only wish we had. Real medical conditions there for ya.

Well, I was mainly thinking instantaneous. I did forget about being exposed in a long period of time though, so I thank you for reminding me. Me for instance, I was born in a military base carrying Agent Orange, and that base has a high rate of birth defects, me included (had a disease in my tongue). Kinda stupid of me to forget. But yeah, I was mainly thinking of instant though like how they show in those movies I named.

But dont forget now as well with the "designer babies" that are born anymore that we could say those mutations may end up being instantaneous as well now from birth. Dont forget that. Oh check out my thread please, trying to get it off the ground.

Um... I think I understand what he means by the zombie-killing gun. Not exactly brilliantly asked, but what he's asking about are specialized weapons meant specifically for zombie-only uses. Like how heat-seekers can track down aircraft, what about (I dunno) a cold-seeker that seeks out undead body temperatures? I dunno... Personally, for good anti-zombie defense, some kind of thermal-triggered landmine. Reads the body temperature presented and if it drops below a certain point, detonates. Keeps friendlies from accidentally tripping it too.
As for "hardened" zombies, with some kind of higher resistance to the kinetic force administered from a 5.56 or any other firearm, use either an explosive or, if you're feeling ballsy, set it on fire. Burn it hot enough, melts off the muscles, rending it quite re-dead. If it's, say in a crazy situation, a zombie with bullet-proof armor (dead cop or soldier), burn it, or if (again, crazy situation) a zombie in a firesuit, shoot it. Then again, if it's in a firesuit with the helmet... Don't panic. It cant really do anything except grab you since it's probably not going to be smart enough to remove the helmet. Now, ape s**t nuts situation, zombie in a bomb suit (fire resistant and very very ballistic resistant)... ******** it, RUN.

but you know...any gun with a superior firing power such as a .50 caliber sniper or machine gun can usually break through those armored suit with enough force to render the zombie either stunned or just plain dead

How many .50 caliber machine guns do you own? Hate to say it man, but civilian big bore(.50 cal or bigger)rifles won't penetrate those suits. Only military grade, anti-material weapons would punch through clean enough to actually damage anything inside the suit. We're talking things like the 40mm machine gun and crap like that...
