I listen to the radio, and read online the news about Obama's "Health insurance" reform plans, and it scares me. It makes me angry the way he is leading this country into destruction, and it makes me want to scream. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way, but what can we DO about it? For being so much about hope, this administration is making me feel hopeless for the future of America.
First, he(Obama) calls for congress to pass his bill before August, so they're rushing to get it passed. The 'bill' is incomplete!! The section regarding the public option about the health insurance, and anything relating to the public option, is missing. It just says, 'this policy is under discussion'. I may be paraphrasing that, but still, it is scary that they are voting on something so important and it's not even finished. So they can basically fill-in-the-blank? That is ridiculous!
Also, the midsummer budget report that gives us the important numbers concerning the effectiveness of the 'stimulus' package, and will definitely affect peoples opinion of Obama, was supposed to be released today, mid-July like normal, but instead the White House is delaying it's release until mid-August. Think about it. A report that could possibly affect the passing of the Health insurance bill and it's being delayed until August. What time did Obama want the bill passed? Before August!
The sad thing is that I believe people will see their mistake in electing him, but I think it will be too late.
I know I'm ranting, but still what can we DO?
