Description: A mountain plateau, one of many that lies in a mountain range north of GTB known as the Tophead Mountains, is the fighting spot for this round. Moving from the standard of being inside a stadium surrounded by people, Midus Sonners has decided to make up for throwing the fighters into a fight full of bad weather and has taken them to a spot that is nice and warm with nice breezy winds of the fresh mountain air, and a good amount of water surrounding each plateau, with various other hills present throughout, including some land and a background view of the higher mountains. Each fighter will be in a location far away from the other matches, so neither will be capable of seeing one another, unless someone launches a pretty large technique, be it visually or by magical sense. Cameramen rest in flying helicopters and on islands out in the water to keep a close watch on the fights taking place for all to see from the safety of their livings and the large screen present back at the GTB stadium.

Grass and rock is the terrain, with a few small ups and downs that keep the plateau from being perfectly flat. The edge drops down in a curve toward the waters, the plateau raised at a height of fifty feet above water. The slope isn't steep, so if one slips down the hill, they can easily catch themselves and start walking back up, though not without some effort.

How The Fighters Arrived: All fighters were transported via helicopters, one helicopter per fight with both fighters being transported in the same vehicle.

Special Conditions: None.

Field Measurements:

Here is a visual of the field measurements, with the assumption that the plateau is circular on its top.

User Image

Ten Count Boundary: The moment someone goes goes outside the 30ft diameter, meaning touching the slopes, the ten count starts. To show where the ten count starts, a holographic barrier surrounds the plateau in a half opaque orange color. For reference, the distance of the slope from the edge of the top to the water is 15 ft.

The flying rule remains.

From a plain old arena to the harsh elements of a thunderstorm, the blacksmith was truly expecting the worse for this next match. After all if the officials took that big of a leap from their first arena it was only natural to assume that things could only get more interesting from here. And from the very moment the poor girl took a look at the other helicopters taking off around her she knew that this was going to be the worst of it. Fear trickled down her spine as every ounce of her shook, her memories flickering back to the elevator ride with Reyin those few weeks ago. Were it not for a few lighthearted nudges and pries from the crew themselves who insured her safe passage the woman might not have even boarded the craft at all. Hell, she would've just forfeited her match all together in sheer terror of falling a few hundred feet in the air.

Damn that Reyin, he who gave her a mild fear of heights.

All the same she appreciated his company as much as any other and knew that her best step at overcoming this challenge was to face it head on. By the time she was within the helicopter her opponent was likely to have already made his way in, less they shared a similar problem with the traveling arrangements. All the same she'd give him a nervous smile upon seeing him and take her seat somewhere amongst the back as one of the crew would strap her in.

"Good afternoon... Mister Stranger..." She chimed out the best she could in her condition, her voice sounding a little more nervous than excited. "My name is Jurie Arks..." She'd extend her shaking hand the best she could to the man, her body feeling a slight tug of anxiety pulling at it as the blades began to spin overhead. "Its a... A pleasure to meet you."

Hopefully the trip there wouldn't take too long as she held serious doubts of the craft's integrity.

The first match was in a boring arena and Seth lost. The second match was in the middle of a ranging storm where he could really shine, and his opponent was a no show. After a bad fight and a fight where he only got wet Seth was ready to go. Being an air user, he wouldn't have a problem taking the helicopter to the next arena. Of course, this only made tons of questions jump into his head. Shoving them off to the side he looked across the chopper at the lady who's name was Jurie Arks. Seth reached out and shook her head.

"Hey. The name's Seth Rowan. Good luck in this fight. Hopefully it will be a good one. My last two weren't really special." He gave a small smile and nod. He was being friendly now but, of course, that would change once the fight started. By this time the helicopter would be taken off and hopefully would reach the arena soon.

His easy demeanor really set the girl at ease, her smile drifting from a nervous one to a joyful expression. She was glad to see that her opponent was much more like her first, one that seemed to want to communicate and have fun rather than go for the win. While that was an aspect to this whole tournament... this man's first impression made her feel more at ease and able to hold hope for a more meaningful fight.

"Oh.... Mister Rowan then." Her expressions would loosen as they edged towards the arena, fortunately being but a few minutes away. "Good luck to you too my friend and rest assured... I intended to give it my all!" At this point her mind completely fell off-track from the flight, her eyes seeming to brim with a brilliant passion which held a certain amount of fire within them. "We'll both learn a new thing or two together here in this experience."

"It would be a great pleasure to learn from you."

Seth was kind of happy to see that Jurie was loosening up, but at the same time it did kind of suck. If she was nervous she could have messed up in the fight, but in the end Seth wanted a good fight. As the chopper went along Seth looked out the window as he listened to Jurie. "That's good to head. This should be fun."

One of the pilots looked back at the two sitting there. "Alright you two. We are here. When we land hop out and when the fight is over we'll be back to pick you up."

Turing back around the smile on Seth's face grew bigger. Sliding open the door he looked down at the arena and only smiled more. This would be a fun battle from what he could tell. It would be more then just attack, counter, attack type of fight. He could have jumped out of the chopper right now, but he didn't want to give away his powers just yet so he waited for the chopper to land. When it did he jumped out and waited for his opponent to follow.

By the time the chopper was landing the girl was already unstrapped and raring to go! In fact... she was already collecting energy in her hands so that she didn't delay the fight much longer after it began. Of course she didn't intend to actually attack with this energy, not in the form it was at the time, but she honestly didn't expect her opponent to know any of the details of her fighting style just yet. All the same... he'd be able to see a soft blue glow wrapping itself around her hands as the craft set down to let the two out.

Seth was the first to get out, followed soon by the blacksmith who, at this point, began manifesting the energies in her left hand into a physical form, the energy within her hands beginning to crackle and glow as it came into a tangible state. Two bars were formed followed by a short chain which linked the two, the flow of spiritual energy constant in its constant state as she performed a light bow to her opponent.

"Let us not waste another moment then, Mister Rowan." Her bright smile would broaden with its warm glow as she came to a bow. Being as comfortable as she was on the flight she didn't expect an attack from her opponent just yet, as she wouldn't make a single move towards him, though she did keep her eyes upon him as she bowed. All the same she was completely open for an attack.

"To each will go the lesson, to each a new horizon." Assuming that he gives her a chance to get in a stance, the woman would slide the energy-forged nunchaku into her hands, throwing her right back over her right shoulder as the left came over her torso to grab the other end of the weapon. It was then two white rings of energy would zip over the weapon, freezing the flow of energy for but a soft moment as the surface smoothed over in her hands, her body loose and relaxed, ready to lash out at her opponent as soon as he was ready.

Seth would in fact take notice of the glowing when he turned around to face his opponent. So she seems ready to go He gave a small laugh as the thought left his head. He would allow her to get ready. Seth wasn't really the one to take an opponent off guard at the very start of the fight. However, with the introduction of her weapons, Seth only saw it fit to pull his fans out. First he grabbed the one that was attached to his right arm, and then grabbed the one that was attached to his left hip. However, at the moment he didn't open them up just yet.

Standing there he felt a small breeze blow across his face and with the helicopter gone he knew that it was a natural breeze. A smile crawled its way onto his face as he took a more defensive stance. His left arm hung straight down, while his right arm was bent and stuck close to his chest. His feet were about shoulder length apart, and he keep his body relaxed so that he could shift and move in any direction if needed be. Ready he gave a small nod. "Good luck." With that Seth really focused on the fight now.

"Good luck to you too, Mister Rowan." She'd chime out with delight as her expressions softened a bit, really showing off that innocent charm of hers. With how loose and relaxed she was it was hard to tell that the blacksmith was even ready for a fight, much less ready to lash out. All in all her aura simply felt... warm, passive even. Almost as though the scenery itself was calming any sort of aggressive mood she might've held before the fight. After all...

The scene was a beautiful one... A peaceful sanctuary for the wilderness which, hopefully after this battle, was to still be preserved for many years to come.

All the same it was time to get things rolling, as Jurie would take a similar footing to her opponent before shifting forward to lash out with a blow, another white ring of energy coursing down her left arm before the energy pounded into the weapon, sending a few cracks down the bars of the nunchaku. Still... there was something about the weapon, something that perhaps felt a little more daunting than it normally should. Were he able to sense spirtual powers he'd notice a small spike of energy whirling within the bars of the weapon, the dim blue glow within shimmering a bit brighter than before.

"KIYAAA!!!" She'd cheer to him as her left slung the weapon outward to her opponent's upper-left side, aiming to catch the man anywhere from the elbow up with that swing of hers. Whether or not the attack actually hit she'd already begin bringing her right across her body to prepare for the next attack, her feet ready to shift around in case he made any sudden moves.

Seth wasn't a master at sensing magical energies, but he could tell that something was up. Watching her movements he got ready when she came at him. Shifting his weight backwards Seth pushed off the ground. Flying back about a foot or two, a breeze picked up flowing from behind him and heading toward his opponent. Because of his body being in the way, the breeze would break into two parts until it passed by him and that would be when he made his move.

Using his energy, Seth took control of the preexisting air current it stopped in its path but unless his opponent could see magical energy it would just look like the breeze died die before getting to her. Mare seconds after grabbing a hold of the breeze, Seth thrusted his hands forward and the air blasted off aimed right for his opponent's chest.

The blacksmith's assault would hit air and immediately she'd move forward as she saw her opponent's motions shifting back, though admittedly she wasn't moving near as fast as her opponent's flight. All the same she'd feel the wind picking up from his movement for but a split moment before Seth seemed to reach out and, for a lack of better words, 'grab' the currents of air that were moving outwards. Jurie simply stood still for but a split moment as he took a grasp of the current of air, her expressions shifting between that of bewilderment and excitement at the actions he seemed to perform, really only feeling the change of pressure in the atmosphere for but a moment before he became ready to attack.

her left would come over her shoulder as she stopped, the right across her torso to grab the other end of her weapon as her eyes flickered over his hands.

Not really knowing what to expect, the blacksmith would simply cross her arms in front of her chest so that those metal gauntlets would form some amount of guard against the oncoming assault in case it came too fast for her to really notice. Bracing herself, she awaited for something to show. A surge of power, a flashing light, anything that really said 'here it comes!' When the impact hit that crossed guard of hers she could only widen her eyes in sheer surprise and cry out in a mighty yelp.

"AHHHHH!!! WHOA WHOA WHOA!!!!"

She'd glide back a few steps, her feet anchored down to keep her from whisking away as the air parted at either side of her body. Small rocks and pebbles would slip across her feet and her body surge with adrenaline, though soon after the gust passed she'd be ready to go on the assault once more. Because now....

Now she knew what his trick was and was already formulating a counter for it, as she'd allow a ring of energy to pour down her right and into the weapon once more, the cracks from but seconds ago seeming to mend completely as she gripped the two sticks within her hand.

"My, my Mister Rowan! I've never seen a trick like that before." She'd chime out if he didn't charge in right away, a broad smile brimming across her lips. "Its good to see you so eager to join the fray! Come, my friend, lets see if I can't find away around you yet!"

With his opponent's surprised, Seth gave a small smile and back tracked a little more. Sliding his right arm around to his back, he opened up the fan that was in his right hand. While they were steel fans being covered in cloth hid the sliding sound of the metal. Of course his body hide the fan, and Jurie didn't show any sign of really knowing that he used fans as his weapon. Hearing what she had to say, Seth laughed a little bit. While he didn't really let it be noticed much, Seth took in what was on the ground in front of him. A few stones. This would be perfect.

"You've ain't seen nothing yet." He gave another small little laugh as he stood there. When she started talking again Seth would make his move. Lifting his left foot up into the air, he stepped it on the ground using some of his powers to kick up a cloud of dust and a few marble size rocks. Sliding his foot back so that he was standing straight, Seth got ready for his next move. As the rocks started to fall back down, Seth stepped out with his left foot again but this time his right hand was brought out from behind his back. Bring out in a violent upward and out motion, the air that was created from it flew out and headed for Jurie. With the timing of events the three rocks that were kicked in the air was got caught in the blast of air. Because of this they were sent flying at very high speeds aimed for random parts of Jurie's body.

If she was going to keep up with this air bender she was going to have to kick it up a notch herself.

Winds of Battle
This ability amplifies physical abilities via spirit energy by twice their normal potential.

A soft violet glow began to emanate from her body as he brought his hand forward for the swipe, her eyes catching sight of the fan as he brought it forward. Perhaps a sudden realization washed over her face at this time, a brow furrowing or her eyes twitching, but really Jurie couldn't say for sure as the moments to come were already flooding through the potential moves she had to perform. All the same flying rocks were a hard item to miss, fast or not, and with her physical attributes multiplied it would be easier for her to not only react to this move, but for her to counter it.

"Ughh!" She jerked out as she swept over the ground in a bit of the roll to the right, her free hand gripping a sizable stone on the ground as she passed by. The projectiles Seth Launched himself simply whizzed by and around the time he was free for another stroke Jurie would have jerked up to her feet again, turning her body to the opponent as she hid the rock within her grasp behind her body.

"Good! Good! Come, defeat me! Show me what you've got!" With this she'd shift forward, gripping the two bars in hand as her eyes flickered across his two hands, awaiting for him to lash out another time.

Things were finally starting to get heated up, and Seth was finally fully getting into this. With a smile on his face he wasn't to surprised that his opponent dodge the rocks. It only showed him that she would actually be able to put up more of a fight. Figuring the change in her position Seth adjusted to compensate, and as he did he opened up the second fan.

"Lets get this going now." With that Seth straightened his body up putting his left hand in front of his left stomach, and his right hand behind him at the small of his back. Giving off a small nod, Seth broke the pose and went speeding off toward Jurie. His speed was pretty good for a human, and if she assumed that he was using his powers to boost his speed she would be wrong. Through training, he was able to increase his speed and he had yet to really show that in this tournament. Running forward Seth closed the fan in his right hand, and pushed off the ground to take flight for a little bit. It would only be for a few seconds but it would allow him to make his move. As he was heading through the air, Seth brought the open fan forward and a blast of air headed for his opponent aimed for her chest.

He was fast, that much was true, but so was the blacksmith. Even without her ability active she could probably match his speed, what with being a bit shorter and less lean than most the competition, not to mention a trained warrior herself. All this aside as soon as he started heading closer they would be nearing a fairly close range and Jurie, with rock still in hand, was finally ready to go on the offensive.

Her arm would shift out from behind her and soon she'd throw a rather sturdy pitch straight towards the center of the air bender's chest who, at this time, was about ready to fly up. Given that Jurie was already a fairly strong girl for her size, doubling that strength was going to send that chunk of earth speeding towards her opponent like a pro-league pitcher at his peak.

Her left foot would come forward after the pitch, and only after a slight pause she'd break back into a dash, and assuming that the rock made contact she'd go leaping up towards her opponent to close the already minor gap between the two as she brought a flying knee to come crashing into her opponent's gut, raising her hands up to crash against his chest when the impact was made to insure that he came barreling down, or at least a bit back mid-flight.

Regardless of how the circumstances came out the woman would be smiling broadly, her pleasant expressions seeming to detract from the moment of clashing fists. It was as though fighting itself was a leisure to the figure, her fist a kind gesture of encouragement towards the opponent. Who knows? Perhaps Seth also felt the same way, two forces clashing and pulling out greater potentials between the two. One way or another though... Jurie was enjoying herself with this new foe, jovial in the prospect of how far she could peak his deepest strength before driving onward in this world.

With Seth in mid-flight, there would be little that he could actually do dodge the rock. However, that didn't mean that he couldn't counter it. With Seth already bring his open fan up for attack he would simply change the idea around a little. Stopping the fan about mid flight, Seth put it in the path of the rock. It would sadly give away a secret of the fan, but it was worth it. The rock hit the fan bouncing off the steel and falling to the ground.

Of course, at this point Seth's opponent would be coming at him meaning there was little time to do much. Using the wind that he was creating by moving through the air, Seth all of the sudden seemed to stop and fall to the ground. What he ended up doing was he switched the direction of the wind to blow again him, and using his powers increased the power of the wind to stop him. Of course, not being perfect his landing wouldn't be all that great. Falling to the ground, Seth almost landed on his butt but caught himself with a free hand. Watching his opponent coming in with a flying kick where he use to be it seemed like he got lucky. Placing both hands on the ground Seth started to go act like he was going into a backwards roll, which he was.

However, as his feet were passing by where his opponent was two blasts of air came flying off and headed for Juire's chest. This was another little talent that came with his air abilities, but it did take a little bit more to do this then control the already made air currents. With blasts of air flying off now his roll would be accelerated a little bit and he would jump back up to his feet taking a defensive stance.
