HERE IS THE VIDEO---> [THEDANCEBAND]<---
WELL YESTERDAY I WAS SEARCHING YOUTUBE (OH WHAT A RESOURCFUL SITE). I STUMBBLED APON A COMMENT THAT SAID SOMETHING ALONG THE LINES OF "QUEST EXPOSED PUT THE DANCE BAND IN SEARCH BAR". WITH MY CURIOSITY , AND LOVE ABDC I CHECKED IT OUT. I COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EYES. IT SHOWED HOW QUEST CREW COPIED ALOT OF THIS OTHER TEAMS ROUTINES (NOT JUST DANCE MOVES). KNOW I STILL LIKE QUEST ALITTLE , BUT I LOST ALITTLE RESPECT WHEN I SAW THIS , BUT EVIDENCE IS EVIDENCE , AND THIS TEAM WAS RIGHT TO CALL QUEST OUT ON THERE WRONG DOING. THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE IS THEM TAKING SO LONG TO DO IT. YOU GUYS CAN SEE IT FOR YOUR SELVES , JUDGE , AND DISCUSS. WHAT EVER YOU FEEL LIKE DOING. I WILL HAVE A VOTING POLL AT THE TOP , AND YOU CAN VOTE ON IF YOU THINK "QUEST IS INOCCENT" , OR "QUEST IS GUILTY" . OH AND THERE IS ANOTHER CREW CALL FLEX FLAVE WHO IS ALSO MENTIONED IN THE VIDEO. I DON'T KNOW WHO THEY ARE , BUT THEY ALSO STOLE SOME THINGS (SO QUEST IS NOT ALONG) , BUT THEY DON'T HAVE TO BE TALKED ABOUT HERE SINCE THIS IS ABOUT WHAT QUEST DID! 3nodding

I watched the video and they do have some sick moves and are awesome. The one thing I'm having a hard time coming to terms with is that don't all industries steal a little here and there.
For example: We all know the iconic Michael Jackson and his crotch grab and moonwalking. Do you know how many crews use his dance moves now and forever will keep using them. Yes we don't have copyrights on dance moves, but we all sample from others. Even in our personal lives. Ohh yes we can say we're an individual and I have my own swagger or style. I call bullshit on that. You can't tell me that you never ever buy anything from the television or the mainstream media. If you did then you would never have a T.V. because you didn't come up with that idea. Now I know my opinion is flawed in many aspects, but you see that's what it is. It's just an opinion and if you like then kudos to you. If you don't then kudos to that. Healthy debate is fun.

I SEE WERE YOU COMING FROM , AND YOU DEFF. BACKED UP YOUR OPINION. LIKE I SAID I STILL LIKE QUEST. TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH THEY DIDN'T REALLY USE THAT MANY MOVES ON ABDC THAT COPIED THE OTHER CREW. I DON'T THINK THEY DID , BUT THEY DID USE SOME IN OTHER COMP. IT WAS OBVIOUS THOU WHEN QUEST USED THE OTHER CREWS MOVES. BUT I MEAN IT CAN BE JUST A COINSIDENCE , OR THEY COULD OF COPIED. (I GOT SERIOUS WRITERS BLOCK OR WHAT EVER YOU CALL IT BECAUSE I CAN NOT THINK OF WHAT TO TYPE , AND I USUALLY CAN.) xp

Man, I heard about that. Like for the Whack Track episode, Quest came out with Hok's upside-down illusion and it was used by another crew. They apologized for copying it...
But still, I don't really think that that particular crew should trip over EVERYTHING. Like, the breaking aspects. There's only so much you can do with break dancing. I can understand the "supersonic" somersault...yeah. But the head landings that Ryanimay does; there are a lot of b-boys who do that.
I actually have more respect for Quest than I do for the other one (that put up the video) because it just seemed like they were trying to throw Quest under the bus with their "unoriginality". They tripped over things that weren't even on the show.
It was kind of like how Team Millenia (no offense to their fans) had copied Kaba Modern with the tutting (Thriller) in their Disturbia number. It was so ridiculous that it had to be pointed out, but tuts aren't copyrighted by Kaba, so you can't do anything.
Even accuse another crew of performing them.

It's just hard to say who came up with the crew.
Another example: I used to live in the bay area and all the radio stations say they are the first to play a song. Well I was listening to Wild 94.9 which used to be wild 107.7, but that's old school and 102.5 KSFM are competing along with 106.1 KMEL. Anyways there was this song can't remember it now. This was also like 7yrs ago when this happened. Well 106.1 said they are the first to play the song, but Wild 94.9 was playing the song like a week or two before KMEL or KSFM even played it. I know this because both KMEL and KSFM had said this is the first time were playing this and we bring you the new stuff when 94.9 was playing it the week before.
It's so hard to figure out who came up with the dance move. Now styles well everyone is pretty much in agreement that Lil C came up with the style Krumping, so anyone who says they are the originators of that would be lying. I just find this funny that they put out the video now when if Quest was copying them and doing there moves why didn't they call them out in the streets or whatnot and not do it until after they win and become famous. More money equals more limelight and more pressure. So many haters. I still love quest. So go and rock on with your bad self.

i've only seen one thing that seems "copied" from Quest, and it's more of a choreographed thing.
3:30 in this video.
i think Pockemon crew is one of their inspirations, i found out about them from a video victor kim favorited haha. xD
BUT, i would have to say two things:
1) bboys are constantly making up insane moves and routines solely to make something original. it's possible to make up something similar to another without knowing.
2) those videos of them are extremely good quality for 2001 and under. most bboy videos i see that are that old and grainy to the maxxxx.

No Offense but Dtrix was on "So You Think You Can Dance" so we know he can dance and also if you guys didnt notice when Reinin was injured he had a broken leg? so D Trix from Quest Crew Filled in for him but im not sure if they actually took the Choreography from that one Clan

Its hard to say that they're copying it off someone. Its also hard to create something when just about everything has already been done. I dare you to get a patent right now :/

I think that they didn't copy any moves...well because I have a connection to quest crew and I'm not lying I swear[I think I spelled that wrong watever]. But a lot of the other crews did that too. They took their style and added it somehow. It might be a coincedence thing but I mean I don't think they STOLE them I just think they took the other crews styles and added it somehow. It just looks the same. But how many of the other crews did that?

I think two of the quest crew members were originally from flex flave? Don't quote me on that though, but it may have been D-trix or they are close with that crew. Something like that, which is probably how they god a hold of the dance moves.

Like I said before, try coming up with a new invention and getting a patent for it. If you see someone doing a flare now, you'll always be saying they copied off someone else.
