Being the largest Library in Japan, the National Library(Also known as the National Diet Library) has an extensive collection. It has a copy of all published works in all of Japan, and it maintains a vast collection of books in foreign languages for research. The Diet of Japan uses this Library for their research, though it is also open for public use as well. The Main Campus in Chiyoda houses thousands of books in their Rare Books and Old Materials Collection. One of the collections, the Shinjo Bunko, is a 11,000 large collection of pre modern writings on astronomy and calenders, as well as Ancient Chinese works.

(( Hope this is right))

Keiko ran up the stairs of the National Library. Once to the top she turned around and looked out to the street.
She laughed and sat down on the top step to catch her breath. She waited to for the others to arrive but also to see who would be the last to arrive.

Hibari leaped the stairs two at a time and slapped her hands on the pillar next to the top of the stairs just seconds after Keiko had arrived.

"Second!" she declared with a giggle. "And Ta-chan's still it~"

Hikari followed in behind Takeo with a sigh, placing his hands into his pockets.

Takeo standing with a smile, "third, so atleast I'm not the last one here," he stated.

Following behind the others, Tatsuko managed to pull ahead just a bit, just barely making it to the library. She was panting, and felt a little dizzy, but she wasn't last. "Fifth... phew... I really shouldn't have done that." She sat down on the steps for a moment, to catch her breath. Tatsuko was anemic, so she was known for fainting spells. She had met one of her other friends when she had passed out at the girl's work. Thankfully, she hadn't passed out yet, and she hoped that would continue. There was still a small smile on Tatsuko's lips as she was starting to calm down. That was the one thing about her friends that she loved so much. She could relax around them. At home, she couldn't, despite how much she tried. Her dad always commented on how her mother was better, and it frustrated her to no end. Here, with her friends, she could just be herself.

Keiko watched one by one as the others caught on to the fun and made it to the library. She spotted Tatsuko running up the stairs. When the girl made it to the top, it looked as if she might pass out. Keiko rummaged through her bag of stuff for the bottles of water and snack bars she brought with her.

"Ah ha!" she exclaimed silently.

She pulled one of each from her bag and walked over to Tatsuko.

"Here, eat this before you faint ." she said with a smile.

She handed Tatsuko the snack bar and bottle of water.

Etsuko stretched out as they reached the library, peering over to the other girls. She looked over Tatuko, seeming a little worried about the other girl. She gave a concerned smile to the girl as she peered amongst the group.

Smiling at Keiko, Tatsuko graciously took the snack bar and water. "Thanks." She knew that she probably shouldn't push herself so hard like she was want to do, but that was just the way she was. She should be fine, so long as she didn't have to do anymore running today. Nibbling on the bar, she gave Etsuko a small grin. She knew that her friends worried, for which she was glad of. Atleast somebody worried about her, though she would try to not to make them worry too much. Giggling, she looked at the others. "Looks like Sakura is buying!" She did feel a small pang of guilt. Sakura had already bought them all such nice charms. She would have to make sure to buy her something later. Tatsuko knew that the girl wanted to go to the Square Enix store, so she would have to pick her up something there. Maybe a figurine or something...

Being that her dad made a good amount of money had its perks. She didn't usually have to worry about spending cash, and he didn't really get upset when she used it. Ryuichi usually made sure that her dad put a few thousand yen in an account for her for spending cash. Most of it went towards her train tickets and books, but she had been scrimping for a few months now. She had nearly 60,000 yen saved up for this little outing, which meant she could splurge a bit and still have money for necessities.

Hibari, who had been playing around by standing on the concrete banisters that flanked the stairs, watched Tatsuko with concern. Oh . . . maybe we shouldn't have raced, she thought, feeling guilty. Even though the idea of a race hadn't been hers, she still felt bad for egging the others on. And Saku-chan's paying again . . . She'd have to get Sakura something later. She knew the other girl had been eying going to the Squenix (her favoured nickname for Square Enix) so she could see what she could buy there.

". . . . . . ."

Hibari's head first whirled to look behind her, then turned this way and that, shock written on her face. She hadn't really heard it, but she'd heard it at the same time. The ill logic of the phenomenon escaped her at the moment, for she was too preoccupied with searching for a source. What? What had that been? A sound? A song? A voice? She wasn't sure, but what she was sure was, it sounded like . . . someone was calling . . .

Keiko looked around and noticed that Sakura chan had not made it yet. It made her feel bad because the girl had bought her a charm and now Sakura was stuck with buying ice cream, but she would make sure to return the favor of the charm when they got to shopping.

Keiko was shaken from her thoughts and when she heard someone call her name.

"Did anyone else hear that?" she questioned

Keiko looked around for the sound.
"Keiko..." a masculine voice called.

There it was again Keiko dismissed it for the time and sat down on the stairs as she waited with everyone for Sakura to make it to the library.

Takeo leaned against a shelf, his chest tightened. He was starting to feel anxious all of a sudden. He took a few deep breathes, one of his legs bouncing.

"Hear what?" Hikari asked Keiko. He noticed Takeo taking out his yo-yo from the corner of his eye. He brushed his brown hair to one side.

Hibari's stupor was broken by Keiko's voice. She turned, bright green eyes quizzical.

"Ehhhh~? Hari-chan's not crazy, then! Hari-chan is hearing voices!" she stopped, and then quickly corrected herself. "Well, okay, a voice . . . but it's not really a voice . . . but Hari-chan heard it . . . well, I couldn't really hear it 'cuz it's not really there . . . I mean . . . uhm . . ." The pink-haired girl flailed her arms, endangering her poor balance as she did so, flushing a delightful shade of coral as she floundered for the right words. "I-it's like . . . telepathy! Yeah! Or . . . I think it's like telepathy . . ."

The faint swish of string caught the tiny girl's attention. In her peripheral vision she saw something flick back and forth, and glanced over. Takeo had begun to toy with his yo-yo. Inevitably, during the time she'd spent hanging out with him and the others, she'd observed habits that they - or more specifically, Takeo - had. So she knew that his yo-yo playing meant that he was nervous. Ara? Why's Ta-kun so nervous? she wondered. Ack . . . now Hari-chan's getting nervous too . . .

"It was a voice. Someone calling me" she answered

I must be loosing my mind. Keiko was confused and unsure what was going on. She faintly heard Hibari say something about telepathy.

"You know I thing you might be right Hibari" she said with a smile

"Keiko, follow me" the voice said and this time it was followed by what looked like a dragon that was orange in color.

Keiko shook her head but the dragon was still there. Oh great now I'm seeing things too. But should I really follow this dragon? Will the others think I'm crazy if i do? So many questions flowed through her mind.

Keiko decided to wait just a bit longer before she decided to follow the dragon.

Sakura wasn't sure how she ended up toward the back, but she'd concede defeat and buy ice cream if she had too, even if she didn't have much left on her after getting everyone charms. She guessed that her Cloud figure would have to wait another few weeks...

When she made it into the Library, she found it odd that she couldn't see anyone that was familiar. "Hey, what's up with this..." She said softly, heading toward the stair case, going up toward the special collections. She wasn't exactly sure why, but she felt she needed to go there. "Hey," she said as loud as she dared, "Tatsuko? Etsuko? Keiko? Where did everyone go?" She'd even lost sight of the boys...

A voice began to echo in Etsuko's mind as she looked down to Tatsuko, seeing that the girl was okay. She glanced around, seeing that Hibari and Keiko were seeming to have the same issue. She was nervous, even though she wasn't sure what was going on. Her eyes darted around, glancing over her friends for a moment, and then looking up, behind her, and anywhere else she could think of. She couldn't figure out where the voice was coming from, but it filled her with curiosity. Why was this happening?

She caught a glimpse of Keiko running off.

Come to me, Etsuko.” She heard whispering.

“Huh? W-what?” The young woman whimpered out loud. This is so weird.

It was at this time that she caught an image of green. Green. It seemed to be taking the form of a turtle and a snake. She tilted her head, biting down on her lip as she began to follow the turtle, not thinking about the consequences of what could be going on.
