Many people do have wild Big Cats as pets. Some places of course it is not legal but it is in many others areas.
Tigers and Lions Big, big kittys! Can be 3+ meters in length and over 1000Kg in weight. The male Siberian Tiger is the largest Cat in the world.
Jaguars Can be 6 feet from head to tail and weigh up to over 200 lbs. They are very rare! They love to swim and climb and usually live near fresh water.
Owning a Big Cat Many people own Big cats. Of course owning one is very costly and takes much time and great effort. Plus you must remember that with large cats. Even if they were born by a breeder, not in the wild they are still big cats and they still have nature in there blood just like a lil' cat. So keep that in mind.
Vexxies Says: I totally disagree with the ownerships of Big cats. They are wild. Many are rare. Many are taken out fo the wild and sold. They should stay in the wild. Everyday cat owners can not give them the proper care. Plus most people want them for the plain down right fact that "there cool to have." Thats just sick mister mad

its just wrong how peope just try to keep one of these big and/or wild cats in stressed house. it still has its natural insticts, so if it bites someone, its not their fault but the owner who took costudy of it.

The biggest kitty I need is my black mix cat, Salem(part burmese or something of that nature) anything larger than that is kinda overkill, although I think its the shock factor of having something exotic that draws alot of people into getting large undomesticated cats. Before they know it, it becomes more than they can handle and they neglect the animal. THAT'S where i see the problem with exotic pets like that, but that's just me. 3nodding
