posting this here so no one reads it until its important.
The possibilities of the new expansion, this is being written on Auguest 16-09, Sunday. under a week until blizzcon.
First we come to the name
it must have cataclysm in it, but its probably not going to be The Cataclysm or just cataclysm like everyone claims.
Possible names:
Echoes of the Cataclysm
Unavoidable Cataclysm
Inevitable Cataclysm
Cataclysm of the Depths
Level cap
Everyone claims 85
but i think it will either be 90, or 100
Location, the current accepted theme is azeroth being torn apart and rebuild by this cataclysm, i think it will partake in The Maelstrom and South Seas.
New Races:
Goblin and Worgen, while this is a wide spread rumor, there is proof.
New Classes:
Many people think there will be new race/class combinations. very very silly ones. that just tear apart lore.
some think 2 hero classes. arch druid and shadow hunter. but one is just a title. and the other is restricted to one race.
i think they wont add a new class in favor of adding a hero class as the first major content patch in 4.1
New Professions:
no word on this yet, alot of people were talking about tri-speccing professions. i doubt this.
maybe wood working, staves/bows/practice weapons [help you train skill faster] and prehaps a boat mount you can fish from?
plus revamping / adding alot of cool stuff to already exsisting profs.
i think there might be new prof mounts. such as a flying broom for enchanters.
many people think old azeroth is being remade for flying mounts. probably because they are redoing Onyxia. but the reason they are doing onyxia is because its the most famous encounter in the game. if you asked 10,000 people who didnt play wow the general consesus would be "that dragon lair thing with the whelps" [being ony ofcoarse]
honestly, half the crap posted on MMO-champ is false. and i feel sorry for the guy who posted it. its going to ruin him.
