The arena chosen by Kazuma was a clearing with a river flowing threw it some ways off of the river there was a tree line, the river was only about 40 feet in width but ran on for quite some time.
Kazuma stepped out into the clearing and leaned up against a tree. He tapped a cigarette in and out of its pack just to play with it, he wouldn't need one yet he supposed.
He wore his usual garb since his return to Gaioh. A black long sleeve shirt that fit pretty baggy and loose. Under which he wore a black jumpsuit which covered his torso and all four limbs rising up to his chin as well. A sheathed sword sat behind his hip as he rest his unoccupied hand on it. He wore rectangular sunglasses which partly covered the vertical scar running through his left eye. He needed as much training as he could get in actual combat, and against a Jounin he knew he didn't stand a chance. But he would try to impress Taka to say the least.
Kazuma had no grudge against Taka, he actually got along with him pretty well. Which didn't happen much with Kazuma, usually everyone was on the same level in his eyes in between like and dislike or maybe he just didn't care to like anyone or not. But Taka was alright in Kazuma's eyes and hopefully this fight would be beneficial for him.
"Hmph, I hate nice weather"
He muttered the words under his breath as he squinted from the bright sunlight

Taka walked into the arena, sporting a sort of twist to his wardrobe. He was wearing his white Jounnin vest, but the other things were slightly different. Under his vest, he wore a thin hoodie with the sleeves cut off at the elbows and the hood poping out of the back of the collar. His pants were loose instead of his very tight pants with a grey Gaioh wing over his right knee. He also sported a brand new headband. The sun gleamed off of the new metal as the two long pieces of cloth that extended from the back blew in the breeze.
Like Kazuma, Taka also had a scar over his left eye, given to him by Kyo in the Chunnin Tornument. Taka smiled at the Genin. "Yo! What's up?" He stopped on the other side of the river and smiled. "Well, since your two ranks lower I'll let you make the first move."

Kazuma's eyes got angry
"God dam chuunin exams..."
"Very well, I guess I'll take the first move..."
Kazuma ran towards Taka while releasing chakra into the soles of his feet for even more speed. He had no doubt Taka could read his every move, but since he wasn't trying to kill him there wasn't much he could do. Kazuma jumped high above Taka and prepared to give him an upside down roundhouse to the face. It wouldn't do much damage but it would shake things up a bit.

Taka stood still as Kazuma charged him. He ducked the kick and reached his right arm up, grabbing Kazuma's left leg and slamming him to the ground. "C'mon Kazuma! If your gonna be my student, you've gotta do better." Taka pulled a kunai from his weapons pouch and twirled it around his fingers and threw it at Kazuma's body.

Kazuma placed both palms into the earth and bent his elbows to relieve pressure from the throw, he then transferred his momentum into a frontwards handspring landing on his feet and turning around to meet Taka's eyes. The kunai stuck into the ground Kazuma had just sprung off of.
"Who said anything about me being your student?"
Kazuma wore a puzzled look on his face hoping to appear to have a weakness to his opponent. He had his two finger hand sign behind his back and waited for Taka's next move.

Taka smirked at Kazuma. "The roster says. You are the first member of this years Team Mazogawa." He jumped back quite a distance, still bering his smirk. The kunai that Taka had thrown wasn't meant to hit Kazuma as Taka figured he would move out of the way. Wrapped around the handle was an explosive tag. Within seconds, the tag ignited, an explosion errupting infront of Kazuma.
The blast wasn't powerful enough to maim Kazuma like Taka's usual tags, but it would leave a few bruises and maybe a few cuts. In the smoke of the explosion, Taka created a couple handseals, creating an exact replica on either side of him. Taka nodded to the clones and they were off. They charged at Kazuma cocking fists back ready to strike. Curious thing about these clones. They looked perfectly normal, yet they steamed as if they were hot.

"No one tells me s**t anymore"
Kazuma pointed his two fingers under him towards the blast
"Ichijin, Air barrier" he muttered quickly.
The blast gave him a higher boost into the air and he could now move around freely, he made a quick succession of handseals and drew his sword in a back hand stance while ascending higher into the air, he saw the clones come out of the smoke and debris.
"Ichijin, Air current"
Around his sword became a very large invisible layer of solid air due to his clan's jutsu. It wasn't like a wind jutsu where it would cut, it was like an invisible layer of solid rock with 4 times the size of Kazuma's sword and none of the added weight. He swung the sword at the clones and the sword actually moved faster do to the air pushing out away from it. Upon contact the sword would send the air current forward creating even more force on the target.
