Hellz Reign: All right. So we're here. Welcome to the Ranute Castle Grounds. That Castle, of course, is Ranute Castle. That's where we're going to be patrolling and killing off the Granbears. Lemme explain to you what a Granbear is, exactly, because I doubt you know yourself.









Hellz Reign: Yes, THAT is their actual size. Granbears got that name because they're just too damn big to be normal bears. Probably some experiments gone wrong or something. Either that or they were just born that way. Meh. [She scoffs.] Anyway, you can see why they're such a threat. One is dangerous, but ten is disastrous. It's going to be our job to kill them and make sure the ten that're roaming free in the castle grounds are taken care of. You got me?


Hellz Reign: Now that you know about your opponent, let's begin.

Reign, Nare saw, was standing secluded, overlooking the grounds. Although the Tangu had wanted a good hunt, Reign had neglected to mention what specifically, in detail, they were going to be killing.

In his mind, Reign gained a few points.

Like always, Nare was standing on his feet, in human form. He had no wings now, and had taken care not to reveal his race to anyone. As far as anyone else was concerned, Nare was simply human.

Ignoring her hostility, Nare gazed out over the fields surrounding Ranute Castle. The granbears weren't exactly masters of stealth; huge, lumbering hulks of fur that they were, they hardly blended in with the scenery at all. Anyone with any sort of a level-head could see them from far-off and then avoid them appropriately, but this was indeed an annoying hindrance to daily life.

Survival usually was, that.

Nare's speed would be helpful in staying alive, he felt, but even so, he had a quiver of arrows and a strengthened bow of oak wood. Shooting from afar, and then outrunning the bears enough to take another shot, would be a comical yet effective means of loading their skulls with sharp arrows.

He said as much, to Reign, as a suggestion to consider while they waited for the others to arrive.

"Not stupid?" Nare murmured, mostly to himself. These Granbears now appeared to be more intelligent than, say, most human beings were. Not that he was being hateful--just truthful, Nare told himself.

All they could do now, was wait. Unless Reign honestly couldn't care what he did. A little scouting--maybe to find a secluded bear or two--might be in order.

Reign turned sharply at the arrival of a foreign fur.

"Ah, good afternoon," she replied, trying her best to be hospitable. "You're assisting with the Granbears, yes? Good to have you." She scowled, but it was mostly to herself. "I was wondering if anyone else was going to bother showing up."

Shut up, shut up.

Reign sighed.

"Honestly, not really," she replied. "I doubted many were going to arrive, however. Hunting Granbears is a dangerous business. They're probably all too cowardly to step up to the plate."
