Introduce Yourself to the Guild  *I do not take any credit for image* Looking for a place to say hello and tell us a little about yourself? Well look no further for this is the place and we are eager to hear more about you. Now there are some guidelines for this thread and they are as follows: ~This is not chatterbox so literacy is necessary, please use full paragraphs when posting in this thread
~Start off with telling us how we can help you and what improvements the Guild could use (remember be respectful and we are a new Guild)
~Tell us about who you are as a person, you DO NOT have to use your name or anything personal like that. Just tell us stuff like: what your preferred RP genre, or what sort of creative things do you do in your spare time IE writing. We want to get to know you as a person rather than just a random Avi on a random site.Please we would love to hear more about the wonderfulness that is you, that which makes you tick and that which makes you a proud literate Role Player.

Hello fellow Guild Members, I will start off with a bang I suppose.
Well I first want to say how I came to want to take on the responsibility of a Guild. Often my sister and I (Tearsoftherose) -yes we are REAL sisters- anyways, often we would say how bored we were getting with Gaia because of the lack of enthusiasm and individuality of the threads, we nearly never join pre-made threads unless they peak our interest, or rather I should speak for myself. I do not like joining pre-made threads unless they find some way of peaking my creative interest. So one day we were chatting on msn (sadly she does not live near me) and decided to create a guild where other minds like ours could explore and let the creative juices flow.
I write short stories for a hobby along with poetry so Gaia allows me the creative release I need now and again when writers block stands in my way of my work. Now I have never been published but I honestly hope to do so someday...one day.
I really enjoy gaia because of it's community based environment. It allows people of all ages to come together and share common interests and that is my goal with this guild as well.

Good day to all! I am TearsOfTherose, the sister of our wonderful GM biggrin I would just like to say that I am glad that we are starting this guild because it is really hard to find a thread that is interesting and literate, if people join our guild we can all RP together and actually enjoy ourselves a little more.
In my spare time I write poetry, I have tried writing short stories but I only get so far then my mind goes blank so that is why i like gaia, because there are so many unique ideas and topics. Anyways I just thought I would introduce myself and say HEY HEY! lol

Well, to introduce myself. I enjoy pretty much any genre of RP, save for the hackneyed and irritating slave/master roleplay style which I find... usually inappropriate and always generic. Other pet peeves include super-bright or super-small fonts, and a 472-page dissertation at the start of a roleplay to explain why one person hates rabbits.
I'm a Montana boy, and in my spare time when I'm not doing my martial arts (or teaching my martial arts, reading martial arts books, discussing martial arts with my brother-in-law, etc) I game, and hang out with friends. That's it. Read something else now. Go on. I'll wait...

The Azure Knight at your service. I am a man of both modern rps all the way to fantasy, schools, kings, wars, sci-fi, I am very malleable in my roles. As odd as it sounds, my favorite part about a roleplay is making the character's. I find that there's nothing more fun that not only creating the shoes of another, but also wearing them.
When I'm not roleplaying, I play music, I am a bassist/singer in a band known as Panic Grenade. Our first single is on the way, hopefully by the end of this month, fingers crossed. I'm a below sea level Floridian in the town of Naples. . . not Italy, but Florida. So, nice to be here, hope there'll be lots of fun roleplaying going on!

Hey all!
Well, I'm Trebin and I'm relatively new to Gaia. I've gotta say, when I first stumbled across the site I was quite, err, bafoozled (is that even a word? Ah well, I'm making it one) on how many RPs there were to join. The last site I was apart of had about one new RP per month, so I'm pretty overwhelmed. I kind of went overboard with joining RPs at first, it was almost like some sort of all-you-can-eat buffet (a crappy metaphor, sorry ><) but I've evened out a bit.
Anyhow, I'm generally a pretty big fan of fantasy, and I've begun to get into RPs based off various games and books and such.
And for some personal stuff, I'm currently in High School, live in Illinois, and such. I'm a huge fan of reading (I'm a pretty big fan of the Dresden series, though I'm only on the second book) and I enjoy videogames as well, of course. Also, I personally believe that Crunch is the best candy bar ever.
Anyhow, that's about all. Hopefully I'll get a chance to RP with y'all!

Yo,
I decided to write an intro, even though it looks like I'm the first to do so in a while. Anyway, I guess I'll go off of everyone else's skeleton. First: rp. I go for a variety of things. Mainly though, I prefer fantasy, sci-fi (especially post-apocalyptic), and organized crime (though I don't find good ones a lot of the time). I really more join an rp if a character comes to me that I love. They are my babies, and hate when one dies with a dead story. So yeah, I will join just about anything, as long as the story is good and I feel like it's a good fight with my style.
Anyway, other than rp-ing, you'll usually find me playing video games, reading, writing, and listening to pod-casts if I'm not with my friends. I also enjoy movies, but who doesn't. Creativity wise, I used to play saxophone, but now I'm in college, and I don't. I also write whenever I'm hit with inspiration. It's nothing serious, but it's something to keep the creative juices flowing. On a less fun note, I am also found at work and classes. Hurray.
And other than that, I am super psyched to be part of the guild! Let the awesome times roll!

Thank you for all your introductions, thought the guild is small it will grow with the help of the members promoting it, keep in mind that the more you promote and the more members we obtain the quicker I can start sending out gifts and rewards to everyone for the literacy and activity in the Guild.
