A strange set of gates set outside of a small town seemed to emmit an eerie glow. They appeared out of no where one day and have stood there ever since. Nothing could be seen on the other side of the them, even as they opened to anyone who approached, and anyone that hasentered has not return. Towns people look at it in fear, nobody daring to go near it anymore. Freightening sounds can be heard from inside it, some of them sound like the screams of the people that were lost in there. The town began to send word that they needed a someone strong and someone intelligent, that might be able to help them. So far they have had no luck and their fear was growing.

Sei stood outside of the gates like he had done every day for the past year. He couldn't see anything inside, just like everyone else, even though the gates always opened to whoever approached. A howl came from inside it made him shiver. His best friend had wondered in a few months ago but never came out, so he was unsure aout going himself. He sighed and sat down. "When will one of those heroes get there that everyone has been hoping for?" he thought out loud.
