Every world has cyrstals to watch over the people of that world, helping them grow and keep the balance in the world. But where there is good, there is evil, and the endless cycle began. But when the land would fall into darkness, four warriors of light would raise up, holding crystals in their hands. They would restore the balance and stop the evil that covered the world in darkness.
Though as fate would have it, Chaos would not die so easily......
Chaos, the God of Discord, began a horrible war against the Goddess Cosmos, disturbing the natural balance with his overwhelming strength. As the battle waged on, ten warriors were sent to gather special crystals to better aid their struggle. However, Chaos gained the upper hand, and destroyed Cosmos, making him the ultimate victor.
The ten warriors were not going to accept this fate without giving a final battle. The ten worked hard against the God and through many battles, they stopped the God of Discord and returned to their home worlds.
Though, as Comos said to Cid of Lufaine, the battle was not over.
Through a paradox, Garland became the God of Discord once again through the power of the Four Fiends of his own world. Thus, renewing the war once again.
But Chaos didn't expect one thing though. With the Warriors back in their own worlds, they as well as their friends would stand up against him and stop him once again.
Pushing aside their tears and sorrows, Firion, now being forced into the leadership position with the death of Minwu The White Wizard, now tries to combat the evil of Emperor Mateus who cheated death and raised his demon caste from the bowels of Hell.
Though as Mateus met death, he was split into two, his light half waking up in heaven, while his dark half took over hell with his power. Minwu, Scott, Josef, and Ricard now battle the evil of the Light Emperor, knowing what the light half could do to better aid Chaos.

Battle Areas Mysidian Tower- A tower that contains the seal tome Ultima. It is filled with magic and the walls are just as alive as the people and monsters inside. One mintue it will as as if you are in a normal old tower, then a heated room with lava falls, and one minute later, a frozen wasteland.
Tropical Island- An island that stays alone within the vast ocean. It is filled with ivy and underground trees. A small clan of mask wearing creatures live on a hidden surface of the island.
Jade Passage- Hidden under a lake, this horrible cave is the paasage to hell and the castle Pandaemonium.
Arcane Labyrinth- A deep deep deep deep structure of ancient times that was constructed to seal off a horrible spell. Its structures are similar too that of Mysidia.
Pandaemonium- The castle of Hell. It's crystal walls reflect magic and it's tricky walls can confuse even the lord of the castle.
