Play nice! I don't think we're gonna be going around policing everybody's RP but if we get reports that you're harassing people OOC to do such-and-such or let your character do such-and-such to theirs, then we will have a Stern Talk with you >:{
If somebody is harassing you, seems to be breaking the Gaia ratings, or anything like that, PM one of us plz. You can ask them to stop/remind them, but don't go startin' flame wars, even if you're right.
Yes, plz feel free to make your own topics here. You can also mess around in the 'Location : x' threads, they are official locations for y'all to esplore 83 and official events may be held in them.

General RP Guidelines
- Beware of godmoding! Godmoding (or godmodding as it is sometimes spelled for no reason I can fathom o-o; ) means controlling somebody else's character - for example, saying in your own post how their character reacts to something your character did. If you're RPing with a good friend or if you've discussed the scene beforehand, then it can be OK (my girlfriend and I godmode each other to no end LAWL) but if you don't know the person, just don't do it~
Beware of power playing! I don't think this will come into play as much because, um, it's mainly a problem in RPs that feature fighting, and...there's generally not a reason for locks and keys to fight O.O; but powerplaying is when you play your character as landing every hit etc. Give the other character a chance to dodge and hit you back once in awhile K? 8D
Be niiice and avoid confusing IC/OOC (in character vs. out of character). Just because a person's pet doesn't like you/your pet doesn't mean the actual person doesn't like you! But if somebody's pet seems to be heaping abuse on yours and it makes you uncomfortable, talk to the player about it. COMMUNICATION HURRAH! o3o
When in doubt, always asskkk. 'Is my pet supposed to know this, or is it a secret?' 'Is it okay if I play with you guys or is this a private party?' 'Is there any way to get your pet to be friends with mine?' A simple PM like that can make an RP a bazillion times more fun! o3o communicate communicate communicate!
Lurk! If you're new to RPing and you're not sure of yourself, hang out and um, watch other people RP for awhile 83 if there's somebody you particularly admire, don't hesitate to PM them and ask them questions about RPing, I betchyu they'll be really nice as long as you're polite~
