About Onion Knight Onion Knight is like the warriors of light in all sense, except that they are only used for a little bit. Since Final Fantasy 3 expanded on the job system, they made a bare class to get you started.
Onion Knight became a job that returned in many games, often being a bad job to start with, until reached lvl 99 and all stats are maxed out. They returned as a secret job in the remake of Final Fantasy 3 for the Nintendo DS.
Though it is widely considered that Yoshitaka's artwork is a grown version of the main Onion Knight.

Theories regarding the Onion Knights Between two games- Well when the Ds remake was made, the Onion Knights were replaced by actual characters from around the world. This cleared up anything regarding Onion Knight.

Trivia First time children were fighting in Final Fantasy.
Became a returning job.
Lulu's final weapon is based off of Onion Knight.
