You know you're too obsessed with the sims when....::
( you can add your own here... )

When you go to bed, planning how your sims lives are going to be when you play the next day

When you literally take paper, and draw up entire family trees, and then make it all happen on the sims.

You cry when one of your sims die.

You make up dialogues for your sims...eg. Hi Tom!! How are you!?

More obviously, when you play it for 13 hours a day

... the first thing that pops in your head when you have to pee is "Um blah doo dah!!" waving your hand around and crossing your legs.

... you've ever looked at a baby at the store or a resturant and came up to it and said something with the words "noo boo" in it.

Hey! I do that stuff too! actually, i drew out my whole 6 generation family tree, and THEN i added extra stuff.

When you understand that Bloo Vadoo! Is a greeting.
When you tell your friends about it and convince them to buy it.
When you have participated in a live chat with the creaters of the Sims 2 several times on the Sims 2 website. (I did all o/ the above. I love the live chats!)

* In labour, you think you can spin and you have a healthy baby.
* In college (sp?) you think it's okay to streak because your naked body is pixelated.
* You don't know if your food is bad because it doesn't have green fumes or flys.
* When someone is in the way, you wave your arms and end your sentance with "Flick Narb!"

=3 I haven't done any of these, but I have said "Flick Narb".

When the Sim you've made of a friend is married to your Sim self and you start thinking "Hmm...they're really happy together and they're having such beautiful kids, I wonder if that would work in real life"

When you use "I was playing the Sims 2" as an excuse not to go to a party

When your friends accept that excuse without complaint or question because they know how much you love your Sims

When you're more upset about a Sim having it's children taken away or accidentally dying than anything that's happening in real life on a personal scale. 'What? My child's been abducted? I know that, it's horrifying! What's that? My REAL Child? oh, ok then. But did I tell you My Sim's Son was taken away?"
