To the one that I serve

This is a poem I wrote this on June 20th 2008. It came to me while I was thinking about one of my Dragon companions. This is a Dragon who doesn't say much, but tells me everything. When working with elemental directions and powers, she represents the element of air, and creativity. Any way here goes:

Glittering by the golden sun
White sparkles by the silky silver moon
Here in an instant, Gone in a flash
Fierce like Thunder
Soft as new fallen cottony snow
With a voice like silver crystalline bells

Nestled in a nest like a baby chick
Quiet and peering like the watchful owl
As Cautious as a young Doe and Fawn
Silent like the Rising Dawn
Neither big nor small,
She surprises all

These words flow from her
like a flower in a steady stream
Her eyes wide with pride
The wind caresses her unscathed hide

Aneara, a Dragon of light
Aneara, graceful in flight
Aneara, My dragin of air
Aneara, She who is always there
Aneara, a voice in the wind.
I will give my all
