Lei-Karu
Karu sat on the top of the fence watching her father shout orders to her brother and stable hands. Her father was trying to get some of the steeds ready to go to market in capital, and as usual Karu wasn't allowed to go. So as stubborn as she was, she refused to help her family round up the stallions they wanted. A blonde palomino trotted up and nudged at Karu making her almost lose her balance. "Ayuru behave." she ran her hand along the stallions neck. The horse lowered his head and shook it a bit. "I know, its not fair, why can't we go to the market with them." She continued to pet her steed. The horse nudged at her leg causing Karu to have to jump from the rail to prevent falling. "Ayuru, whats wrong with you?" she faced the blonde stallion and began to rub her hands down his snout. The horse just snorted. "You want be rubbed down huh?" the horse tossed his head up excitedly. "Alright alright, we just can't get in the boys way." she went to the stallions side and grabbed a bit of his mane before giving a bit of a jump and getting up onto the steeds bare back, her father hated when she rode bare back, but there was no reason to let Ayuru roam around with a saddle on.
When the reached the first stable, the one for there private horses, she saw her father shaking his head from the other stable. She slid down off the horses back and walked him into the stable. When she left his side to get the brush off the shelf the stallion nudged her back. "Ayuru, what is going on with you today huh?" she turned back and rubbed the left side of the blonde's face. He turned in and nudged at girls left wrist. She just stared into the stallions eyes. She smiled, the horse knew everything about her, she told him everything, even things she couldn't think to tell her family. "Karu." her fathers broke the moment between horse and master. "Yes sir?" she turned patting the horse. "Where is that bridle you finished?" he crossed his arms watching his strange daughter. Karu looked a bit shocked, "The dress one? The one you said no one would ever want?" Karu had made a formal bridal she was quite proud of, it wasn't as beautiful as the one she had made Ayuru, the stallion had never worn it except to be fitted, but that was besides the point. "If I'm going to market, I might as well take it with me, maybe someone won't notice your mistakes." Karu sighed, then walked into the tact shed and pulled it out. The leather had been died blue and was embossed with dragons and other marks making it uniquely Kutou, something you might see on a noble's steed during a parade. Her father took it and imediatly flipped over the decorative larger dragon that sat where a horses forehead would be. He sighed and shook his head, she had marked it with a celestial sign along with her families mark.
