I have noticed that for some of the caches that I have done that if I had only checked a map, or directions that it would have been quicker to have driven to a different part of the parking lot, or to an entirely different parking lot.
My questions for you geocaching guild are these
-Have you ever found a cache and realized that it would have been faster to go back to the car?
-Have you ever gone back to the car to drive closer to a cache?
-Do you prefer one over the other for rainy days or hot days?
-Do you think that this is a form of geo-cheating?

Usually I prefer to hike, even in the rain. Some days I get too tired and hit the last few by car if possible. Especially if I want to end the day with a round number on my cache counter.

I think that we who cache do love a good long walk. Or hike, though I must admit that there is a satisfaction in going on an urban cache run.
