I'm probably the only one celebrating this right now but I don't care, I love this holiday xd I invite you all to talk about it with me.
TOPICS CAN INCLUDE! - Plans for the holiday - Ritual ideas - Related lore - Symbolism - Deities - etc, etc.

Walpurgisnacht is "witches' night". It's a Germanic and Scandinavian holiday that falls on the night before May Day. The focus is on Hel and the dead, as well as the darker parts of Frigg and Freyja's personalities.
It's like a dark contrast to the day after, which is about life and fertility. I like to think of it as the day we spend concentrating on death and so on so that we can devote all of the following day to joy and celebration.

When I saw the title I was like...hey isn't that in April (but then I remembered where you live sweatdrop ). Oddly enough I only know that because the fiction book I am currently reading mentioned it. Other than that I know absolutely nothing about it though.

I like that idea. But I don't follow anything Norse, so could I still use it?

Well the key practice of the holiday is to blot to Hel... so why would you want to?

Sanguina Cruenta so why would you want to? Pretty much this. You could do your own celebration that focuses on the "darker" aspects of whatever gods/goddesses you follow...but I don't think you could rightly call it Walpurgisnacht
