Past life (As told by Guardian)
Ani was always an adventurous child, climbing up stairs she wasn't supposed to, and wandering outside in the middle of the night. She felt more closely related to her mother, who had the same wild and free instinct, and her father sheltered her, and tried to keep boys from her. Which was partly a good thing, considering the boys we had in our area. When she grew, she was quite the tomboy, and because of this, began to spend time with Sato, a close family friend, seeing as Amari and Sato were once lovers. Sato taught her defensive magic, and parlor tricks, and also taught her how to fight. And through this, he found a certain spark in her he loved. The moment she turned 16 he mated her. I remember Tsunade was furious. Him and Sato had never gotten along. Sato was his sensei at one time, and Tsunade could never make the cut. Amari couldn't have been happier. Ani and Sato decided to live in the dojo Sato taught at, and would continue to teach children, Ani teaching healing magic, and Sato teaching fighting.
But Sato had enemies. And while Sato was a dragon, and nearly invincible, they knew his weakness. Ani. She was killed a few days after her eighteenth birthday, and Sato crawled inside a bottle and never got out. I tried to do anything to make him feel better...but he couldn't come back after losing the love of his life. So I began to look for ways to bring her back. Which brought me to a young Taoist offering his skills for a price. Can I really have my best friend back? Can Sato be happy again?

Koji Duestchen, a foreigner from somewhere in Europe, he met Amari and Tsunade long ago, he was but 15 then. He watched their love grow, and in turn, watched Ani come into existence. He became her godfather, and in that, her best friend. They shared secrets, and when Koji discovered he was Gay, she was still by his side. And when Ani fell in love with Sato, he supported her. They were never separate, and when Ani died, he became utterly depressed. And that's what started his quest to find a way to bring Ani back.

Day of Hope - I have this little lotus blossom right here...And I'm told Ani's spirit is inside it. It glows warmly, and smells like she used to, like roses. It's beautiful, almost as much as her.
Day of Purity - Ani...is right here beside me. She just...is here. Like the man said. She's just how I remember her. Ani doesn't remember anything though. I ask her questions, see if she can remember anything, she can't. If she can't remember anything...will Sato still love her? Maybe they can make new memories together. For now, I'm happy with the memories I have of her, and the new ones I will make. I haven't informed Amari, Sato or Tsunade. I figure each can wait, right now I want Ani to be at peace, and not have her so frazzled when Sato begins to question her, and trying to make her remember.
