In the year 2045, there lies a shop in the outskirts of Tokyo, Japan. In that shop, there are many robots. However, unlike the rest of robots made for fighting, all of these robots are made to be like maids. They are very expensive and almost no one can buy them. The robot's main intention to clean, cook, and other things all went wrong in the making, for these robots unusually have feelings. Some love they love their master, others love another robot, while others are by their lonesome and love no one. Each robot has a color design. Whatever is on it represents her given personality.

Collar design:
Tear: This robot is very shy. She can be clumsy at times, but that makes her cuter which makes her popular among buyers.

kiss: This robot is very flirtatious. She usually wears showy clothes, but has a sensitive side. That's what makes her popular among buyers.

heart: This robot is always smiling. She seems to do everything perfect. She would do anything for her master which makes her a good buy.

Mirror: This robot never talks. She seems to have no feelings, but is actually overflowing with feelings.To most people she looks like a beautiful Goddess. She's quite popular.

Spike: This robot is very daring and energetic. She almost never shows her feelings and always hides her sadness with her happiness. She has a bad temper, and is sometimes feared by buyers.

Circle: This robot is very realistic and normal. Like a normal girl. Instead of maid's dresses like others she wears the Japanese sailor uniform. Her realness is what makes her popular.

Meri swung her legs slowly back and forth off the edge of the shelf, it was still too early to open the store. She knew that humans operated at all hours so it made little sense to her that their store did not.

She smoothed a nonexistent wrinkle from her stocking and looked out the large glass window at the sherbet orange sky. 34 minutes, 27 seconds until opening. Median 2 hours 38 minutes 4 seconds before a customer came in. Likelihood that a customer would buy someone today 63%.

The Spike collared robot that had been in charge of cleaning the floor last night had neglected the corners, she noted with slight disdain.
Since no one had bothered to do it all night, she supposed she ought to, the shop owner would be there in under 15 minutes to make sure everything was in order. She took short, slow strides, exactly half a meter each to the janitorial supplies closet and filled the large yellow bucket with the appropriate quantities of water and soap.
She steered the industrial mop bucket by the mop's handle to each corner in turn and made up a short dance based on the arrangement of tiles converted to binary code.

The chore complete, there was nothing but to wait. Maybe her future owner would walk in today.

(Accepted!)She looked at the seemingly endless amount of robots surrounding her. She was probably one of the only few "Tear" robots, and got quite embarrassed about that fact. Sighing, she continued standing by the window, looking out at the hurrying people. She was scared of getting an owner thinking they would mistreat her, but she knew she'd be bought sooner or later. She knew some one would come any minute now to take away one of her friends.

The owner arrived to find the store all in order. No one was powered down for neglecting their chores.

A kiss-collared robot was flirting with a teenaged male who probably could not afford anyone here, he had come in merely to gawk at all the perfect female shaped bodies.

Meri noticed a Tear-collared robot by the window, her quietude seemed deeper than the mere shyness they all exhibited, so she walked to her side and put a reassuring hand to her forearm while looking out the window at the passerby with a brave face. Her expression showing the utter confidence a child has that there is nothing out there they cannot defeat with their plastic light saber.

Meri gave Rena a gentle smile
before turning and realizing that a serious customer was in the store. A young women had entered, spoken not a word, and was now looking right at Renari.
How wonderful! She might be bought and have a master to serve. She might finally get to leave the store and go out to the real world.

She noticed that the Tear-collared robot looked less thrilled and resolved to stay nearby, assuming that her expression was a fear of rejection.

Delighted to hear that her fellow robot had not been rejected Meri strolled away to allow the two to celebrate their new companionship. How lucky! To have a sale so early in the day!
She sat next to a Heart-collared robot in the window and looked out at the people in the street, imagining what it might be like to be owned by one of them.

Sales were rare, she knew robots like her were expensive. It was unlikely anyone else would be bought today, but she was glad it was shy Rena, now the robot knew that she was wanted, she did not have to worry about impressing a potential buyer any more.

The chances of a second sale in the same day were 11%. She rested her elbow on the window sill and set her chin in her hand as she gazed out, still dreaming of meeting her future master or mistress.
