Next year on October 9th it will be John Lennon's 70th birthday, and I've been wanting to arrange some sort of gathering at the Strawberry Fields memorial in New York, maybe have some kind of celebration. I can't find anyone who I personally know that is willing to go though, because nobody my age even knows who he is. :
I live in Florida and I'm a minor, AND my parents are not going to be willing to drive me or pay for a plane ticket, so I'm probably going to have to spend a while raising money or something.
So what do you think? Were any of you planning to go anyway?

i live miles away from those places, so far i gotta go through plane. and the ticket fare to other continents OTHER than asia's uber expensive.
but i was promised when i turn 16, we'll go to europe, by my granny (as a graduation and debut gift). :3 so i guess i'ma have to save some money if i wanna persuade meh granny to take us to liverpool as well (i have a list of places i'm willing to go to). please at least london for teh abbey? D:
