This thread was inspired by a Burger King commercial that I just saw, which is monopolizing the whole "OMG! 'New Moon'!"-mania. Love it or hate it, none of you can deny its existence.

I haven't read Twilight and don't have much of an opinion on it beyond thinking that the central romance seems rather creepy. But I LOL'd when I was watching a Volvo commercial that suddenly became about Twilight, and how Edward chooses Volvo because he must protect what is important to him~~

For realz, Waltz? That's worse than the BK commercials I've seen. And yes the pluralization was intentional. BK has more than one commercial geared towards the whole Twilight thing.
Never heard or read of the books, but came across 'Breaking Dawn' at Borders Express and the book section of Wal-Mart.
A cute girl at Borders Express told me to go watch the first movie and that's pretty much the only reason why I saw it other than the curiosity about the whole mania.
The only thing I can say from the trailer of 'New Moon'...I wanna be a wolf boy xd

Oh my, I must see these BK commericals. xD WTF does fast food have to do with vampires...
What did you think of the movie? My bro's GF is really into Twilight but I haven't been forced to watch it yet, thankfully.

I'm not a big fan of Twilight but even I can't stand the commercials. I think its ridiculous. Its already over advertised as is (I can't watch TV without seeing the commercial for the movie a billion times) and just watching the ads for BK and the car commercials just over kill it.
....Did you know that online there's a site called "Twimoms" or something like that? o.0

My mom's all like "you don't like Twilight? I thought you would be!" and stuff like that. I'm about to give her my book since it seems she's the one that wants to be in it. She told me a bunch of her coworkers have read the books and stuff.

In an interview with E! News, Robert Paterson said he was confronted by a mother (aka, those "Twimoms") and told him that she's wearing panties that says "Team Edward" on them.
...And he's had countless girls wanting him to bite their necks. Oh boy.
Apparently, 'Eclipse' is already ready and will show up in theaters either March or June. I forget.
Haven't watched it yet. Not really quick about watching a movie by myself.

I read 3/4 books. I haven't read the last one yet well simply because I don't have it lol. I borrowed the 2nd and 3rd books from a friend though just never got around to getting the 4th. Twilight isn't the greatest book but it is pretty addicting once you read it. I thought it was something good to read while I was bored. I saw the BK commercials and I actually thought they were kinda funny. lol Still have no interest in seeing the movie, though. Oh my god that's so true. xDD
