The best couple I've seen so far would be Shizuru/Natsuki (shiznat), but I don't seee many forums dedicated to them...not right, man.....not right.... cry lol In my opinion, they make a relly cute couple, don't they? 3nodding [*POSSIBLE SPOILER*] But in the anime, this has always been on my mind, when Natsuki said that she didn't return Shizuru's feelings, did she mean it? Because right after, she said she was truly in love with Shizuru....Natsuki's very confusing. [*/POSSIBLE SPOILER* -ka] sweatdrop

I don't think Mai-Otome is so much a sequel as an alternate or parallel universe? If that is what you're talking about, Queenie Aki. I heard something similar about Otome, though, as far as Shizuru and Natsuki are concerned.

What I heard is that Shizuru and Natsuki are implied to be more implied to be in a stable, subtle relationship that's more hinted at in Mai-Otome than overtly displayed with fluff. But it seems to say that they are together and have been. There is supposedly lots of shoujo-ai-ish fanservice otherwise in the series, too. :3

Back to the original question, they're one of my favorite couples, too! There is quite a bit of fan-stuff for them, but perhaps we should have more of it here. I love them together!

Oh, these two were cute. They make a good couple, I wish there was a bit more on them in the series. A sequel would be great, especially since this was a really good series. I loved how psychologically twisted it was, I couldn't put it down.
I think there are a lot of fanworks like fanfiction and fanart for the pairing, though, right? I've seen a lot of it around, it's part of how I got to know about the series.

Yeah, i'm a fan of all the fanwork. Definately one of the bigger yuri fanbases. It's just that good though. I mean, s**t.
I know Otome is like AUish, versus HiMe. But I kinda just think Shiznat would evolve into what they are in Otome anyway, Maybe that's just my wishful thinking. =]

No, it probably could, 'cause I think the same thing. :] That was probably the intention--'cause we all know it'd happen somehow, right? XD
I haven't watched Otome yet, I wasn't sure I liked the outfits (ahaha) and I ran out of time just around then. I should go back and watch it again, but for the meantime, lots of Shizu x Natsu fanstuff?

Mmmmm. Shiznat.... I haven't watched Otome either yet because I enjoyed Mai and the new main character...looks...not so fun? I guess? But yes. Tons of fanficcy goodness for this couple. XD
