This isn't my story but I thought it was really interesting. My brother's friend, Tierra, and her sisters lived in this really creepy house when they were little. Every night when they'd go to sleep, there was a shadow of an elderly lady rocking back and forth in a rocking chair. Her sister said that there wasn't a rocking chair or anything that looked like a rocking chair in the room. Nothing was moving in the room ether. She'd just rock back and forth watching them as they watched her. She said her features were visible just like if a person was standing right there in the shadows.
It could or could not be true but it's still entertaining to me. smile

Sounds like a residual haunting. I know it probably freaked them out, but it doesn't sound like it was there to hurt them. Actually, it was probably the opposite. I am curious as to whether it still happens in the house, however.
