It was a nice winter afternoon. Panama was at home in her own kitchen baking up some brownies and making her infamous homemade hot chocolate that she stirred with milk. However, she had already put the cookies in the oven. The kitchen had been getting hot, so she opened up the side door to air out.
Then, when she was feeling impatient during the wait. She grabbed her wooden spoon and held it like a microphone. She started to sing along to the music in the background. At the moment, she had a grease soundtrack playing. She was running back and forth in the kitchen singing, "You're the one that I want, ooh, oooo, ooooh, oohhhh"

Valencia huddled up his scarf and coat, shivering against the cold. He had just come back from the market as he had run out of flour and icing. He hummed a little song to himself as he hurried to his home, wanting to be warm. He stopped in his tracks, hearing singing from somewhere. He looked towards the house in front of him. Whoever was singing was rather loud; he smiled, wondering who it was.

Panama was just having the time of her life singing and dancing. She was in a step mimicing dancing she had seen on one of her human's "movies" when she spun around. She faced a window that revealed another chef watching her.
She bent forward a little and her cheeks flushing. Well, it would be hard to tell since her skin was so dark there. Still, her eyes showed her embarrassment, but she corrected herself.
"Well good elf, you will catch your death out there... You want a cup of hot cocoa? It'll keep you warm enough for your trip home!" She offered.

Valencia started when the other chef had caught him watching. He too, flushed in embarrassment, thinking that the other probably thought him a creep. "Oh!" he said, realizing that the other had spoken, "T-that would be quite lovely! If you would be so kind..." he trailed off, advancing towards the house, a little dance to his step.

Yeah. It could have been creepy except that Panama herself was good for the occassional creepy whim here and there. As such, she wasn't too often made uncomfortable except when she felt like she was in imminent danger. Of course, she was sometimes too naive as well.
In any regards, she lopped through the kitchen fetching a cup and saucer. It might have amused some people to see someone as non cliche as Panama to use things like these for something as basic and simple as hot chocolate, but that was one of those random quirks of hers.
She hummed "greased lightening" as she prepared it. She also pulled out a warm turnover and put it on the saucer next to his cup. "Do you like raspberries? I was giving you a turnover to add some fill to your stomach. I can take it off if you don't like raspberries, though."

"I love raspberries. Why thank you." he gave her a grateful smile, "I really do appreciate it." he said, taking off his scarf and coat, thankful to be in the warm house. He hung his belongings behind a chair, as he put his bag of flour and icing next to the chair. Sitting down, he looked at her, tilting his head slightly, "What're you humming might I ask?"

Panama smiled sheepishly as she looked at him. "Well, it's a musical movie song. I'm sure you would just probably laugh. Then, again.. maybe not. Most who know me; they know me to be a real rock and roll kind of gal. Still, when I'm cooking, I like all sorts of music. The type of music I listen to inspires different sorts of food and dishes. I guess I felt like 'Grease' today."
When she said 'Grease', she make little quotation gestures with her hands. Then, she made a cup of cocoa for herself before walking over to an oven. She opened the door to check on a batch of brownies.
Then, she looked at his bag curiously. "Your groceries won't spoil will they?"

"Ah!" he said, "Those! I've seen humans watch those." Valencia blew on his hot chocolate briefly before taking a small sip, feeling the warmth spread throughout his body. The Heila let out a little chuckle before responding, "Well that's a wonderful source of inspiration." Valencia shook his head, "No. It's just flour and icing. I'm sure icing spoils, but right now it might be frozen solid." he said before taking another sip.

Panama gave a laugh of her own. How many times has she returned to her home from the store only to find her ingredients frozen as well! "Man... what sucks the worst... is when you've got a recipe half made.. you realize. HEY! I need to go out and get some fruit for this! but, by the time you get home.. it's frozen through and through.. so you still can't make it!!!"
She drank some hot cocoa of her own and smiled. How nice it was to have company. This made her feel that perhaps she should get out more often.
