I haven't seen a thread like this around -- if there is one, forgive me, I don't think I noticed. xD
But anyway, the idea just popped in my head. I'm sure we have a few gamers lurking around here somewhere.
So, just thought I'd create a thread for some talk. And help each other out if we're stuck -- 'cause being stuck is never fun. :3

Platform: PS3
Guesstimate of Progress In-Game:: I'm about... 1/4 through?
Comments/Opinions:: Repetitive. I already posted a comment about it on Tangent to a fellow Tangent reg and yeah. Just thought it was annoying to be doing the same thing, I played for 4 hours tonight and almost died of boredom. Decided to take a break and pop in here for a while. xD
I'm a little disappointed at the lack-lustre personality of male character -- less likeable than say... Ezio from AC, even Cole from InFamous grew on you after a while. Female accomplice, Elika, is rather single-minded and a little shallow but I sense a development.
I'm also playing... (but taking a break from)
Game:: Dragon Age: Origins
Platform: PC
Guesstimate of Progress In-Game:: Pfft. Like, 1/8. Post- Grey Warden go boom, somewhere in Lothering. I took a break, little bummed out that I can't seduce Morrighan as a female character -- le sigh.
Comments/Opinions:: Holy ---. Morrighan is SO HOT. DDD8
Game: Final Fantasy: War of the Lions
Platform: PSP
Guesstimate of Progress In-Game: About half-way.
Comments/Opinions: A little slow but I have no doubt I'll pick it up again once school starts and I'm commuting. :3

Game: Xenosaga: episode 3
Platform: PS2
Guesstimate of progress in-game: about half-way through
Comments/Opinions: I am a total Xenosaga freak so when the third game came out I had a feeling I was going to like it immediately. But I love it, and I love the series (especially Kos-mos heart ) but people should really play the series, it is really fun and the storyline is probably the best aspect of the series

@ Rainbow: I've been trying to find the series -- I unfortunately only started playing a lot after I had gotten a PS3. So, I haven't been able to find Xenosaga. I don't even have a PS2 anymore 'cause my brother screwed it up. T __T
@ Zephyr: Haha, I thought Kairi's voice was annoying tooo. I always lowered the volume whenever she started to speak, actually.
And I can't wait for HeartGold and SoulSilver, I'm pretty psyched about it -- I hope the female character isn't as... ditzy looking as all the other ones. I want character customizationn. xD;

Comments/Opinions: The button-mashy combat is strangely satisfying. The story, on the other hand...leaves me confused. Someone wanna help me out?
Game: BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger
Platform: PlayStation 3
Guesstimate of Progress In-Game: Beat Story and Arcade Modes, gotten all the trophies except one (two if you count Platinum)
Comments/Opinions: Just...need to beat...Score Attack. If only I could kill that sonovabitch Unlimited Ragna!
Also, need to finish God of War, start God of War II and start up Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance again.

Well. . I'm not really playing any games at the moment,
save for some DDR - In the Groove, Dance Dance Revolution Extreme [I think?], and Dance Factory.
Comments/Opinions: Fun s**t.. P;

My consoles are actually packed away, since I didn't want facking distractions. .
I hope to unpack them this summer when my schooling thins out.
There's a whole ton of games I want to play right now though. :3
Metal Gear Solid series, McGees Alice in Wonderland, Silent Hill series, Resident Evil series, Left 4 Dead... to name a few

oni: im pretty sure theyll put 358/2 days on a bigger console. hopefully. kh is not a game i like playing on a small screen...
metroid prime is hard for me to play for some reason Dx

alice is an awesome effing game >:] played it on all difficulties. its what i played when i was younger, after i got tired of pwning the s**t out of diablo xP i want a tat of thier version of the cheshire cat :]

debi: Doubtful. Chain of Memories was one thing, but this trilogy of handheld games is another thing altogether. Maybe Kingdom Hearts: coded will be released on WiiWare or something, but only for the Western release, since mobile phone video games aren't really a big market.

Mass Effect. I heard it has a lesbian "sex" scene, although it's not really explicit. Fweh, can barely see anything at all. D8 And if anyone would dare remind me, yes, there was a controversy about the game. People said that it "portrayed women as objects", more specifically, sexual objects I presume.

Should have mentioned this earlier, but in KH, I got the Final Limit which makes my Limit Break stronger, lasts longer, adds a super special attack, and allows me to use it more often.
Yeah...because what this game needed was a stronger version of my Insta-Win attack.
Maki: That's FOX News for ya; blowing things out of proportion. Besides, you can have all sorts of sexual relationships; all depends on your character and who you wanna be with. Hell, Dragon Age: Origins, also made by Bioware, has a very similar dating sim thing going. Really, this just makes me laugh sometimes, when the sex scenes are just as dark and out of focus as you say they are. Granted, it's M, I don't expect to see everything, but...I dunno, sometimes I wish we could see a little bit more.

On the topic of Dragon Age.
I'm actually very happy the sex scenes don't show anything -- both characters are still in their undergarments, different positions, movements implying sexual intercourse but not showing anything.
The mood is more.. Romantic and much less about the sex.
Personally, I much prefer tasteful suggestions (which is more of the thing Bioware was going for I believe) as opposed to in-your-face-obscene-full-blown sex.
I don't think the queer community needs anymore negative propaganda to associated with. Or I could just be biased, I wouldn't have aimed for the dating sim if the sex itself was actually explicit. xD

I'm not saying "make it full-blown sex like the Hot Cofee thing", but it probably wouldn't completely destroy the mood if a n****e or two was shown for a fourth of a second. I like a romantic mood as much as the next person.
Still no Silent Hill. Grrr. Mom promises tomorrow (today?), as well as fixing headphones. Maybe not headphones, but hopefully soon. Of course, I could just try waiting an additional or four weeks, then get it and No More Heroes 2 at once.
