M'kay so this is not the first time this has happened to me but I will simply put my opinion out since it's been bugging me for a while and I've been flamed about it as well (really f-ing annoying).
I really enjoy making up cosplay avatars for the avi arena here on Gaia. It just so happens that I've been working on my Ezio cosplay for at least the last month or two so I entered in my latest one in the cosplay avatar arena. Even with a comment in the description to not to post anything sexist about my avi, my first comment (even before the contest has begun) is just that.
I shouldn't have to change my avi's gender just to fit in with everyone. It's my dream to actually have a real life Ezio cosplay in fact. Why do guys have such a problem with chicks cross-playing?! I even have a compression shirt now just so I can do a crossplay since apparently it is far too "disturbing" when busty chicks attempt crossplay (fyi, crossplay is when someone cosplays the opposite gender).
Is it really so hard to not be so judgemental about these things, OMFG?!
With any luck I plan on having an awesome Ezio cosplay someday even if AC isn't always gonna be the "it" video game. I already have a proper rapier from the era, and if I have my way I'll be able to afford a replica of the long sword Altair carries.
...
Nobody has to comment really, I just needed to let off some steam since I'm really tired of sexist comments when all I was trying to do is create an accurate cosplay avi of Ezio.
