i love that video lol
my dad doesnt like seeing vermin at the table, but i will eat lunch and snacks up in my room and share with my rats. ill even break things into small pievces so when they want something they can come and just take it.
my late rat, aiden, used to climb up to my face, pry my mouth open, and take the food that was in my mouth. he had a very forceful personality

I Normaly eat in my room for them ^-^... The only thing is, If I Do break up things for them to take, They try to take my food... XD They want the bigger parts for themselfs lol.

Animals at the table is a big no no for me. Especially the rats. My pit knows that she is not even allowed in the kitchen when food is out. She lays just outside the kitchen, where the carpet stops, and the cats have long since gotten tired of getting sprayed with water so they stay in the living room. The rats DO get little bits of leftovers after lunch, or thier own little plate at special occasions.

My rats do get bits of what I am eating, but they aren't allowed free access to the table/computer-desk while I eat.

Hmmm I see... I Mother seemed to be kinda iffy about it right before I got them, But then she fell in love with them lol. But my granmother doesn't like them still xD She enjoys watching them eat tho lol.

I've thought about letting my rats run around on the table while I was eating, but my parents aren't too keen on the idea. When I had my apartment, they used to crawl all over the computer desk and either my fiance or myself would eat lunch there they would happily sneak something off the plates. I remember one time we stopped and got Arby's and Shadow decided she wanted the largest curly fry on the plate and tried to take it back with her to her cage. It was hilarious. She got a small piece of the inner part of the fry (with no seasonings) and some yogies for that one. blaugh

when i had my swear rat he would be out all the time walking around our house and we would let him eat off our plate. and sit on the couch to sit on my lap like a cat and watch tv with me.. and he would play fetch.. and bring me things, some times he would turn the taps on and leave them running X_X he died long time ago tho.. stupid lady moved in our house with cats and he had to stay in his cage.. and he got sad.. and stopped eating...-w-;

All i feed my rat is peanut butter, ham and paper (only if they feel like eating paper) and rice.... 3nodding
