PUB LOUNGE OPEN!

Good evening all! I am please to announce that all of our Lounges are open to all Clans and even Free Lancers! I, Marth-chan, will be your host. Welcome to the non-violent role-playing forum. Here, you may chat with your Clans, in your own personal threads and even challenge others while playing as your role-playing character. Those of you who do not wish to partake in the actual Battle System, may post characters in the Bios Section and role-play here with those characters.
Before we start, however, I must lay down some ground rules. Yes, yes, I know. You're sick of seeing them, but I must cover them any-ho!

1. The TOS of Gaia must always be followed!
2. Please keep language PG-13, if you feel you must have language or any other content, you must make a warning in the title!
3. Players are NOT allowed to control NPCs or another person's character.
4. No instant kills
5. All weapons and armor must be those mentioned within the games and work as such.
6. Clan threads are specifically for that Clan's members, if you are not in that Clan, you may not post in its thread. If you find something offensive about you or another player within a Clan thread, please contact either myself or a Judge.

Now that that's settled...
Clans: You may have a "Clan Thread" specifically for your Clan Members to Role-Play in. When you create a Clan Thread, please contact either myself or a judge and we will make it a Sticky for you.
Individuals: You may post in your Clan thread, any open threads or create your own threads. You may not exclude or ban people from your thread unless they are being offensive to you or another member of your thread.
So relax, have fun and try not to bounce too hard off my newly built walls!

You receive the following every time you post. However, some rules apply! "Bump" posts do NOT count as posts. You gain nothing from those. You gain EXP, AP and Gil when you "role-play". You need to be either making an action of some kind with your character or talking through your character to receive EXP, AP and Gil.
Also, any post that is removed due to offensive behavior will result in 10 EXP, 5 AP and 20 Gil being removed from you.

EXP:
Every time you post you gain 10 EXP. It is up to you to keep track of your EXP!

AP:
Every time you post, you also gain 5 AP. All the same rules apply to AP as they do to EXP. Again, it is up to you to keep track of your AP!

GIL:
Every time you post, you also gain 10 Gil!

Sometimes, Judges (Or myself) may host contests in which a large amount of EXP, AP, items or gil will be rewarded. Unless I specify otherwise, only a Judge (Crew) or higher may host these contests.

This is great buddy! I know we're both busy but I'll try to stop by whenever possible.

Question: How are the players to start out? Do we only get to pick a starting job like in the games and unlock new ones? And what about the weapons? Do we get to pick our favorite to start with at least?

Ah, my bad, I should have made that clear. XP

Sadly, you will need to start with a Starting job. As mentioned above, you gain EXP and AP from making posts (Not just "Bumps", those do NOT count as posts). When you reach 100 EXP, you level up. When you acquire enough AP, you master the Ability you were trying to learn. When you complete all the requirements for the job you want, you can take the job. There are no missions for jobs, you only need the Mastered Ability requirements to take it.
All weapons and equipment are available from the start (Say for special items to be given out in contests, special threads, etc...You just need the gil for it!

Which is something else I forgot to mention!
With every legitimate post you also gain 10 Gil!
