Walking casually through the gardens was a figure clad in all black. Black t-shirt, black combats, black boots, and to top it off, a black leather trench coat. As he walked, a calm night breeze stirred his trench every so often. The figure would almost completely blend in to the darkness, apart from the gentle light cast on him every so often from the candles and lanterns, and the bright orange glow of a cigarette, illuminating his face whenever he took a pull off of the little death stick.

Stopping by a stream, he crouched down to stare into the water for a moment, for no real reason other than to watch the calm ripple of the current, then with a smirk as he illiuminated his face once more with the orange of his cigarette, he swiped his hand through the water, distorting his reflected features.

Standing back up, he dryed his hand on his combats and continued his little wander

*As the evening breeze nips at her cheeks, Adina withdraws her face further into the fur lined hood of her cloak, so that her features are concealed in it's warm depths. The fine powdery snow crunches softly beneath her booted feet ((she enjoys the sound, otherwise she'd be silent)) as she strolls through the icy, enchantments the transformed garden has to offer her.

She follows the frosty cobblestones 'til they lead her to an opening about one of the guild's gurgling streams. It was still warm enough out that none of the small brooks had fully frozen over yet.

Her crimson eyes gaze in the serene beauty of the moonlit scene... and it was then that she picked out the dark clad figure. She paused, cautious as she did not recognize him.*

Stopping again to look at a foot print in the snow, (force of habit and he likes to see if he can tell who or what made it), he hears a light crunch of snow from someone walking. Most likely female, or small, from the way the sound was. Also it was a bit away, probably outside the normal human hearing range, so he shrugs and keeps walking, following the stream for no other reason than that.

Then he heard the crunching of the snow getting closer, and he stopped again, crouching beside the bank of the stream once more and seeming to be looking at the light sheet of ice along the bank here. Though his head was leaned slightly to one side so he could fully see anyone that came, using his peripheral vision and his hands were on his thighs, his right one near the pistol holstered on his right thigh. (Yes, he's a little over cautious),

When he saw a figure emerge from one of the paths, he was completely still for a moment, apart from opening his mouth and taking a deep breath of the air and wind. Something about the figure seemed familiar, though he wasn't sure what and couldn't make out it's face, hidden inside the hood of the cloak. Though he was now sure it was female from the figure and stature.

After the moment, he titled his head to the side slightly. The familiarity he felt was in the oddness of things.
Hmm, scentless... And the soul, or lack there of. But, something else... Ah.

With a small smile, he turned his attention back to the stream, moving his right hand to one of his jacket pockets, producing a lighter and pack of cigarettes, lighting one and letting the flare illuminate his face again.

"Good evening, Vampiress."

*Adina smiles at the voice, identifying him before he even finished the first word. Adina would step forth in a low sweeping bow of aknowledgement. Upon rising from the graceful movement, gloved hands would remove the hood from her face. Letting the silvery moonlight reflect off her own icy features, her paleness accentuated by the snow covered landscape.

Her rubied eyes would glisten like inset gems on a statue of perfection, as incarnadine lips parted to let a puff of breath escape in ghost like tendrils of fog. She had fed recently... otherwise she would have no body temperature.

Ennes must be tired, or he'd have smelled a hint of blood on the chilly evening air.

She speaks in that sultry tone that's all her own... that silken voice that brushes and glides over the most intimate of places, without ever being anything more than a sound and ne'er a touch.*

"Good evening yourself Lord Ennessss."

*It wasn't a hiss... simply her drawing the sound of the name out, playing with it on her tongue like a piece of sweetened candy. That kind of word play would cause shivers that had nothing to do with the winter temperatures.*

((Oops, wrong account first time. sweatdrop ))

As Ennes rose from his crouched position, he returned her bow with one of his own. He may hunt her kind a lot of the time, but he respected them. Especially ones that had lived as long as this one likely had.

The way she looked was not lost on him, her pale beauty illuminated by the moonlight. She looked so fragile. But damn if looks could be deceiving.

He was able to smell the blood on the air now, and noticing her breath on the chilled air, he figured she had recently fed. Though it didn't matter much to him.

And the way she spoke his name, now that was interesting, the effect it had on him. It caused a slight shiver in his body, which indeed had nothing to do with the cold. The hair on the back of his neck instinctively stood and he rolled his neck to slightly cover the shiver.

As he shivered, a wolf's howl could be heard not too far away, about just outside the grounds of where they were. At this, Ennes appeared to space out for a moment. "Easy brother. Nothing to worry about. Yet anyways... Besides, you know me."

He heard a growl inside his head in reply to this which brought a slight grin to his face as his attention returned to Adina.

"Have a nice meal?"

*Adina watched him bemusedly and nodded with a slight tilt of her head, rubied eyes watching him intently. She shrugged those petite shoulders of hers non-chalantly as she smiled, the merest hint of fangs peeking out to glint in the silvered light of the moon.*

"I did thank you... It's amazing what some people will willingly do you know...."

*She smiled mischeviously as she watched the man across from her. He could take that comment as he would. She was after all a vampiress... would it be surprising that a creature who survives off of sex and blood should combine the two into a pleasurable art form?*

"That's good to hear."

He smirked as he started walking leisurely towards her. A few things ran through his head at her comment. Most of which made him smile. No, it didn't surprise him at all. If anything, he was rather curious about it.

"Isn't it though. But not so much as one would think with someone such as yourself."

As he said this, he had a mischevious smile of his own. And she could take that comment however she wanted.

*And she was damn well going to take it how she wanted... lol She batted frosty lashes at him and smiled coyly.*

"Why lord Ennessss... Is that an invitation?"

He simply shrugged slightly in reply to her question, the mischievious grin still on his face. To be perfectly honest, he wasn't sure himself. He tended to just follow his mouth, usually without thinking beforehand, which was usually followed by trouble.

But life would be boring without a little trouble.

"Could be."

And there was that growl in his head again.

*Adina closes the last few steps that seperate them. Parting her lips as she sighs, ghost like tendrils reaching out as she breathes warmly against his skin in the chill night air. She reaches a slender hend up and out of the warm depths of her cloak. She cups the side of his face in a gentle caress.

Her rubied eyes lock onto his, smiling seductively as she gazes up at him, pressing the line of her body against his as she purrs into his ear, her cheek touching his... wisps of her silver hair tickling his flesh.*

Her warm breath on his cold skin sent a chill down his spine, both from the sensation and knowing she shouldn't have breath. Though this didn't turn him off at all, even knowing why she had breath didn't deter him.

His head tilted slightly, leaning into the caress and looking back into her eyes. His own were dark brown, and there seemed to be an almost animalistic hunger in them.

He inhaled deeply as she pressed her body against his, the wisps of her hair tickling his flesh making the hair on the back of his neck stand up. He grinned at what she said, a somewhat odd grin though, from how she said it as well as other things.

For most of past few moments, he had been relatively still, but now his hands moved to her waist as he breathed into her ear.

"Oh really? Well, maybe I can give a definitive answer."
PostPosted: Tue Jan 31, 2006 6:08 pm

*The vampiress purrs softly at his touch, letting a little more of her weight fall against his body. Not that she was heavy... just so that he would feel the closeness of her that much more effectively. As he grips her about the waist, she presses a kiss to his neck, her lips brushing over the fluttering pulse. Her small pink tongue flicks out and licks a warm line of wet along his supple skin before she replies...*

"Oh really? And what might that answer be?"

*Oh yeah. The Vampiress Adina is her name... and seduction is her game.*

He rolled his neck as another shiver went through him from the sensation of her lips and tongue against the chilled skin on his neck. Then, he took a step back from her, though his hands remained on her waist for the time being and he gave her a little mischeviously grin.

"Later... Perhaps."

Yet another thing she could take as she wanted.
PostPosted: Tue Jan 31, 2006 6:29 pm

*Adina raised a fine brow at him and replied coyly...*

"Perhaps is just another word for maybe my dear... and I already told you, I don't deal in those..."

*Winking at him playfully, she turns around to leave. His grip about her waist was loose enough that she could... but as soon as she took two steps he'd have two choices. Pull her back into him or let her go.

Adina didn't like being toyed with and she had ways of making people speed up the decision process. One was to leave and threaten them with the finality of denial after it was too late to change their minds...

And that's just what she was doing now.*
