He wrote the book "Catcher In The Rye" which was central to the plot of of the first series of GITS SAC, and where the text on the "laughing man" logo came from.
There hasnt been too much going on here and well a few of us decided to 'restart' the guild with a new name.. just so you guys know.

When I heard about it, I was crushed. He's always been a favorite author of mine ever since I read his stuff after watching, what else, Ghost in the Shell. He will be missed.
