I heard about this, what a terrible start to the winter onlympics. They showed the accident before the opening ceremony. They said others had crashed on that course that day. I do hope they make the walls bigger on that course and pad the steel beams next to it.

I'm impressed that his team mates still wanted to walk in the parade of athletes at the opening ceremony after such a tragedy.

I know right. They said they dug the slide deep and put puffy stuff at the side just in case they fly out they won't hit their head on the medal poles like he did it's so sad still...

I heard about it while watching the Olympics. Im still surprised, just for a practice? Its so surprising, I can't people would still want to race on that after that happened. I hope they make the route more safe.
