Appearance: Raymond is your typical enough looking human, coming in at about 6'1 and weighing in at just shy of 200 lbs. Short Brown hair cropped back and lacks sideburns, kept forehead length so as to not constantly bother his face. His eyes are a Brownish Green and he really isn't anything special. Not particularly handsome nor particularly hard on the eyes he tends to blend well into crowds(provided they're human crowds). His skin is tan from many years spent on the road doing business and as a result of that he has also come to have a fairly athletic build to him.
Personality: A trader by nature Raymond gets along well with a myriad of races and people, though he can get very angry when people try to abuse his kindness and play him for a fool. He isn't exactly the most booksmart fellow, but years of learning as things went along and a close to silver tongue have kept him out of trouble and kept his business well afloat. While easy-going most of the time he takes his business very seriously and gets right down to work when the job needs doing.

Equipment, Abilities, and Spells: Equipment:Weapons razz rimary weapon:Saber:A heavy cavalry saber usually designed to be used from horseback this weapon is equally useful on foot, where it can be used to deliver heavy slashing blows and lethal puncturing thrusts if one has the skill to use it. His saber is roughly three feet long from tip to pommel and is plain in design and rather cheap in manufacturing. While the blade is indeed far from a masterwork it is not so fragile that it would break if used in combat, rather, it requires more effort to keep it in good condition. The blade features numerous tiny nicks and scratches, as Raymond purchased the weapon secondhand, though none of them seem to be bad enough to warrant him taking the weapon to a smith to have them removed. The grip is wrapped in worn leather and shows much wear.
His saberEquipment:Attire:Neck/back: A rugged cloak stitched from durable linen cloth with leather edges, this cloak features a hood that can be flipped up quickly should the weather turn foul. Extends down to his thighs.
Chest: Raymond wears two things here. The first is a light brown tunic, more of a shirt, which has long sleeves which can be rolled up or down for use is multiple climates. Over this he wears a durable leather vest, which aside from having several small pockets on the inner lining also gives very modest protection to his chest should he come under attack. It's far from being armor, but anything helps.
Waist: A brown leather belt, it features several notches and appears to be quite worn. The buckle is a dull Grey in color and is presumably made from iron. Attached to this is the scabbard for his saber, which is made of brass(the brass is quite tarnished from years spent in inclement weather).
Legs: A pair of leather pants, they are of a similar make to his vest and are equally as worn down. They do indeed have pockets and while they are made of leather they are more than roomy enough to allow his legs to breathe.
Feet: A pair of leather boots, these boots extend a quarter of the way up his calves and feature numerous patches where repairs have had to be made. The soles look to have just been replaced.
Other: A large knapsack, complete with a bedroll and a coil of rope, he wears this on his back and over his cloak. The bag has enough space to hold 40 lbs. of assorted gear and features an ample number of compartments for the sorting of various items.

Ca$h money: Currently Raymond carries around 30 gold pieces with him in his belt.
Temporary items:
Sunrod(3): A sun rod is a piece of wood treated with alchemical chemicals so that whens struck against a hard surface it erupts into bright light. Much like a magical glow stick it has a lifespan of around 6 hours before it becomes useless.
Thunderstone(1): An alchemically treated rock, a thunderstone makes a deafening crash of noise when thrown with force against a hard object. The noise is enough to deafen most creatures for one hour, though those with sensitive hearing may be deafened for longer.

Abilities:Racial:Human:Human: Being a member of the race known as humans, Raymond has the uncanny ability to pick up new skills and abilities quicker than most might be able to. Some attribute this to the relatively short lifespans of humans and the drive they must have in order to keep up with other races.
Abilities:Racial:Martial training:Raymond, like many other humans, spent a short period of his life serving the common good as the member of a local militia. While far from a professional soldier or an elite warrior Raymond is no stranger to combat or what goes along with it. He has received training in a few forms of combat, including:
-One handed martial weapons(Longswords, short swords, one handed maces)
-Light and medium shields such as targes, bucklers and kite shields.
-medium and light armor(leather, mail)
-Large scale infantry weapons(spears and pikes)
In addition Raymond has gradually learned on his own to wield his saber, allowing him to use his weapon with passable skill and accuracy.
Abilities razz rofession:Trader:As a professional trader Raymond has had diverse interaction with numerous races and peoples of the world. While far from a linguist Raymond understands basic principals of many commonly spoken languages, though this extends only as far as curses and basic questions and answers.
I.E. Raymond cannot speak Dwarven, however he can spout many dwarven curses and ask such questions as where to find the local magistrate or where the best bar is.
Alongside this Raymond has developed an extensive number of contacts throughout the world, many of which he has partnerships with. It is through these men Raymond acquires items his customers might want, and in return the supplier is given a small cut along with what payment he/she gets for the items provided. Not all of these are the most...clean of people, and many belong to various black market gangs.
Abilities:Weakness:Racial:Raymond is a human. Raymond can't shoot fire from his hands, lift boulders over his head or warp reality with his mind. Raymond has no special powers or abilities that set him apart from anyone else, and relies on a small amount of martial skill to defend himself. If you cut him he will bleed, if you put him in the dark he won't be able to see without light. He is your typical human being, and has such weaknesses.
History: Your typical human trader, Raymond travels across the land from one post to the next, offering to acquire goods for people in exchange for money or things in return. He started this business almost 8 years ago, and not much about him is known from before then. Judging by the weapon he carries it would be fair to assume he was at one point the member of a small military force somewhere, though judging by his clothing it wasn't anytime recent. He is known for having connections to merchants in cities across the land and prides himself on being able to get whatever the customer might needs, so long as they can pay him in return.
