Good question. It depends on how it's ending. If zombies is the final decision, i'd grab a rifle and go down fightin'. smile

2012 does not predict the end of the world. It predicts the end of days as much as December 31st.

the world's axis could move enough to shift climates, the stock market could crash, the mayans guy(s) who made the calendar could have died before he could finish it, or the algorithm they used could have only reached so far. world war 3 could happen. there are so many different possibilities theres just no way to know for sure. we just have to wait it out. and if anyone is paying attention to the news, the fact that greece is falling apart is most likely the start of a domino effect, which might be it.

nightcrower the world's axis could move enough to shift climates, Oh yes, because what's stayed constant to within one degree for the last three billion years will change dramatically in one day. Protip: tipping the world upside down would just give us slightly hotter summers and slightly cooler winters. The southern hemisphere would get slightly cooler summers and slightly warmer winters. No real change, though I suppose Antarctica might go for a vacation up "north". Quote: the stock market could crash, Mayans can predict things based on concepts they didn't know that in turn are based on concepts they didn't know? They didn't have anything CLOSE to a stock market. They didn't even have businesses. Quote: the mayans guy(s) who made the calendar could have died before he could finish it, You realize it's the end date of the calendar, right? You know what happens when our calendar ends? It usually ends with colorful explosions and "HAPPY NEW YEAR!". Quote: or the algorithm they used could have only reached so far. world war 3 could happen. Wars. Now THERE'S something the Mayans knew about. Technology's come a long way since the obsidian club, though. Quote: there are so many different possibilities theres just no way to know for sure. we just have to wait it out. and if anyone is paying attention to the news, the fact that greece is falling apart is most likely the start of a domino effect, which might be it. Greece? I think you mean Venice, and that's been happening for a long-a** time now. Basically we're taking the word of some centuries-dead human-sacrificing primitives who had trouble tending to goats and starting fires when our own scientists who have split the atom and put a man on the moon can't see it two years away. How is that NOT ludicrous? God, that's the ******** epitome of tin-foil hatting.

@ Fresnel As far as the greece thing he's not talking about it literally falling apart. he's referring to the rioting and general upset with the government that's causing a few big stir's on the news. He is not referring to the whole Venice flooding and sinking because it was built over ******** water.
Also he never said any of those events were the end of the world. He merely said that some of those were major theories attatched to the whole 2012 paranoia. Notice in your last post how he actually say's "everything i posted were theories of what COULD happen, that that the mayans predicted it" And your response to that is "except theres no actual evidence that anything will happen. Just rumor and hearsay" oh my god he just said the same thing you said....
You're in a guild about zombies...and yet as soon as someone mentions something that's not based in fact you immediately start attacking them and attempting to act like your superior. Seems a little bit backwards and childish.

Fresnel Wars. Now THERE'S something the Mayans knew about. Technology's come a long way since the obsidian club, though. Btw obsidian club...i think not more like Macuahuitl...a wooden sword with shards of obsidian and flint embedded in it...NOT A CLUB but a SWORD

Richard Gross, a geophysicist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, says he has done the calculations. Gross says the earthquake, which measured 8.8 on the Richter scale, moved large amounts of rock, altered the distribution of mass on the planet, and moved the Earth’s axis by about 2.7 milliarcseconds (about 8 centimeters or 3 inches). The change in axis directly impacts Earth’s rotation, and the rate of the planet’s rotation determines the length of a day.
ha! ok not the climate changing but still. this is from discovermagazine.com if you wanna read the whole thing. some scientists THEORIZE (notive the caps) that the axis will also move more dramatically, making some places warmer and others colder. science has just made you its b***h.

He is not referring to the whole Venice flooding and sinking because it was built over ******** water. That's not hardly apocalyptic. When he said "falling apart" I assumed he was talking about the more dramatic FALLING APART like California slowly melting into the sea. Quote: Also he never said any of those events were the end of the world. He merely said that some of those were major theories attatched to the whole 2012 paranoia. Seems a little bit backwards and childish. All those theories are just wild bullshit based on absolutely nothing but ignorant misunderstanding, and sometimes they're just made up from the start. At least zombies have a snowball's chance in hell of existing. Not the classic undead walking corpses, but Quarantine-types perhaps. If this were a vampire or wolfman guild, I'd be telling you all to go to hell too. At least voodoo zombies EXIST.
