Yes, we all love international films...but let's face it, they can suck just as easily as many out of Hollywood do.
The worst foreign film I've ever seen was a Mexican film titled "Danzon". This movie had the most dissapointing, frustrating ending of any movie I've ever seen. The entire story was a journey of self-discovery for the main character, and by the end you were rooting for her to do the right thing and change her life...but in the last minute of the film, she does the exact opposite! Also, it was slow as hell.

I wish Elephant was foreign... because if it was, I would say it was the worst foreign film I've ever seen. blaugh
I dunno, some of the ones I saw in film class two years ago were pretty band. I vaguely remember not liking Erendira, a Mexican film based on a Gabriel Garcia Marquez book I think.

"Resurrection of Little Match Girl" - a Korean cyber-horror flick. Please don't see this movie.

EVIL DEAD TRAP had absolutely NO saving grace whatsoever, it was 90 minutes of pure, horrifying, non-amusing s**t in it. Nothing redeeming, just a pile of bore topped with annoyance.

So far, I've hated Ekin Cheng movies, especially Running Out of Time 2 and Storm Riders. ROoT was just a failure. Ekin is nice eye candy, but he doesn't captivate like Andy Lau can. Maybe I shouldn't blame Ekin, the whole movie was just silly and embarassing compared to its predecessor. Storm Riders was a mess of a fantasy wu xia film. Relied too heavily on special effects and pop music (presumably by the main actors, whom are also singers).

I've only seen the few final fights in Storm Riders and I thought it was pretty cool when he slashes and a big ice scimitar comes out of nowhere and slashes with him.
That was it though.

Resurrection of Little Match Girl was a major disapointment. Storm Riders was also disapointing. They showed the scene with the giant scimitar in a preview I saw and I thought it would be good. Don't trust the previews.

Parasite Eve was so, so horrible. Luckily, I didn't have to pay any money for it since they were showing it on Showtime when I saw it.

Lots of people love it ~ but for me ~
The British 'mod' film Blow-Up is completely annoying ~ I had to force myself to sit through it and the only reason I think I made it was b/c of the wine I was drinking

Battle Royale 2
The only part I liked was when Taku slipped while fighting Shuya.

mxyzptlk Don't trust the previews. yes, don't trust previews. They always show the good stuff in the previews but when you actually watch the movies..it's like, hey, the only good stuff in the movie is compressed as the preview. I haven't seen the Resurection of Little Match Girl though, the preview seems so cool. Soo sci-fi style, but yeah...until you actually watch them, there's no way you can comment a movie. i bet i saw plenty of bad movies out there, but my brain just stop working right now and i can't remember any... oohhh..actually, there's a Bollywood movie, Kol Mi Gaya?, the first sci-fi indian movie. There's a blue ET in it. The movie kinda weird...i'm not sure it's bad, but it definitely is very2 weird.

irilia The movie kinda weird...i'm not sure it's bad, but it definitely is very2 weird. That's my problem. I like the weird movies but I'm never sure when I'm done watching them if they're bad or very weird. Then I make the mistake of watching them with my friends. They had a lot to say about Visitor Q.

I haven't seen much Indian films. I really want to change that, but there's just so many other films I'd rather watch.
