I do. Without a doubt. I found a website last night that discussed spiritual evolution a little bit more, and I am just...I dunno. In my mind, I am blown away. Because connecting it to my life, my heart, with how my religious views have slowly changed and what I believed in the entire time anyway, everything just fits almost perfectly. It is about self empowerment, the God Consciousness within ourselves, becoming compassion and love. Man, I have never been so sure of something, and this might not make any sense to anyone else, but I just had to write it down somewhere! I am so happy right now! I have trust in myself for once, haha! I probably sound like I'm on something! XD But anyways, it's not about worshiping something. It's not about fear, not at all. It's about love. All you need is love, right? I just had to share my excited feelings with everybody, lol. Peace everyone! ^^

I had a simular realization not so long ago. It came to me in the form of a book.

I have to start at the begining of the story for this to make sense. I was feeling (and am still a little) uncomfortable in my house. Having nightmares is not normal for me unless I'm sick or it is really hot in the room. Well, I started having nightmares that felt precognitive, and I wondered if it was really my fore-sight, or something invading my dreams. As I am used to sing shadows loom over me before I go to bed, I assumed the latter. *usually I aim my projector clock right at the shaddow and it swooshes out of the way to avoid the light. cool huh? Other times, when I'm annoyed, or when I wake up in the middle of the night and see them, I shove my foot right through them in the air as hard as I can. Not such a smart idea because I always feel a heavy spike of anger or a growl even after I do that, but sometimes I am illogical like that). Well, I became frantic after a certain dream, and I started searching desperately for some sort of protection. That is why I joined this guild even. After days of searching, my friend easily and confidently pulled a book off of a shelf and handed it to me, after thumbing through it of course. She spoke well of the author, and said it sounded like it could help. The title, 'The Ghost Hunter's Survival Guide' by Michelle Belanger seemed to me like I was digging in the wrong area to find protection, but I was desperate. I put the book on hold (along with another but that doesn't have anything to do with this story) and went up to buy it the next day. When I brought it home, my dad seriously angered me by snatching it up and reading through random places in it, like he always does, looking for anything wiccan........ (which pisses me off severely, I'm 24, and it was MY money) he gave it back and I was relieved. After I read through some of it myself, I not only understood why he gave it to me but I felt relief. It was teaching practical means of protection from many elements by using mostly prayer (to your prefered Entity, in this case, God) or possitive reinforcement. I highly suggest this book to anyone who feels they are being haunted, having their dreams tampered with, have picked up hitchhikers, or plan on going ghost hunting. Also, it has suggest ways to bless your house. All of these have nothing to do with candles, spells, strange ingredients, bizzare incantations, anything like that that would make some people uncomfortable.

(note, I am not saying anything bad against wiccans or people who use those things. However, I am encouraging people who do not have experience or a propper teacher available to try methods that are safer before they resort to more extreme methods.)

In short, I love the book, and it really showed me that I can deal with my paranormal issues, talents, and other things without turning away from God.

I'd also like it to be said that I do not follow any strict religion. I am a believer in God and Jesus, but do not claim any particular religion.
