Item one: Add additional memories and statements for the Marauder Era years. (requires rereading all seven books for the umpteenth time)

Item two: Go back through the really old posts and edit them. (Not too much, but if someone left the guild before editing it, it still deserves an editing touch.)

Item three: Write fanfiction. (I've completed Flashy Carrots, another chapter for Cat Rat and Dog, another thousand words and more on the second part of Hiding from the Marauders and some additional fun in my unpublished story Amortentia)

Item four: Prove exactly why we need Character Profiles for Canon characters. (Mostly with James, Severus, and Remus. I mean, I've already done Peter and Lily, and I regard Umi as the personification of Sirius at times, so I doubt I could make a different take on him, so I did the other three of the main characters of this Era for now.)

Item five: Complain to Umi and Lelandra who convince me to find ways for additional scenes. (Like the one currently happening between Ariel, Justin, and Hannah)

Item six: Ignore the general inactivity of the guild by coloring random manga pictures as Harry Potter characters. (Including my OC's little sister)

Item seven: Make up pathetic lists like this. (I'm definitely channeling Wormtail right now, and as I can't come up with a scene, Unnamed Subforum, here I rant.)

If you desire to see the fruits of my boredom, ie. the character profiles I made for James, Remus and Severus and how they differ from the ones that the actual players posted... go ahead and look further. I didn't do this to suggest that my versions are better in any way, just to prove for the umpteenth time why the guild requires profiles for Canon Characters. Plus, I was bored. This proves it.

Marauders' Role Play Character Application

NAME & AGE
First: James
Middle: Henry
Last: Potter
Maiden: As if I were a girl… Wow. Can anyone say, not applicable?
Origin of Name: James is Hebrew for “supplanter.” When did I ever supplant anyone? Henry is German for “ruler of the home.” Potter is English for—c’mon guys it’s obvious—“pot maker.” Told you it was obvious.
Nickname: The Marauders call me Mr. Prongs. Or Prongs when we’re not being formal. When Sirius wants to annoy me, he calls me Dear or Prongsie. Lily Evans calls me Potter. A lot.
Age: Why ever would you want to know? Ooh, did Lilykins put you up to this?
Birth date: March 27, 1960
Zodiac: Aries

IDENTITY & APPEARANCE
Gender: I thought we already went over this. Could I really be anything but male?
Height: Sure, pick on the short guy! Just kidding. Peter’s way shorter than me.
Weight: Okay, this is starting to sound disturbingly like a personal advertisement. Are you sure none of this information is getting back to Evans? She really didn’t put you up to this? … Drat.
Body Type: I’ve been told I have the build of a Seeker, but I like Chasing better.
Hair: black, messy, I bet Lily thinks it’s sexy, but honestly, I’ve given up trying to control it.
Eye Color: hazel, surprisingly. I always have thought of myself as having light brownish eyes, but apparently they can look green too.
Ethnicity: English
Handicaps/Disabilities: That’s definitely something most people don’t want broadcasted around. I’ll tell you a secret though—if you want someone that is disabled or handicapped, take a look at Snape.
Special Abilities: Oh those I have loads of! First off, my talent for flying in general. Madam Hooch says I’m a natural. Secondly, my awesome skills as a Chaser. No one scores more points than James Potter in any game. Third, er, can anyone say, Stag Animagus? Yep, that’s me. Oh, wait, that one is supposed to be a secret. Please don’t tell. But honestly, add in the natural talent for Transfiguration, and practically any other subject that is thrown my way, and I’m the perfect bloke.
Other Distinguishing Features: I do wear glasses, and my hair is probably the messiest in the school.
Mode of Dress: What do you mean? Are you asking if I run around starkers? Oh, now I know this is Lily’s secret plot. You won’t be able to convince me otherwise.

FAMILY
Mother: Sarah Katherine Potter.
Father: Henry Oliver Potter.
Adoptive/Step Parents: I suppose my godparents.
Siblings: I’m technically an only child. Sirius, Remus and Peter however become like brothers to me. Sirius especially. And when he moved in with me it was like I was gaining a brother I've known forever. I treat Ariel and Cayden as if they were my sisters.
Notable Extended Family: The Potters are linked by marriage or blood to all pureblood families. I do have an aunt Dora and an uncle Charles. And Dad told me this really interesting bedtime story once, and claimed he and I were direct descendants of one of the characters. A bloke by the name of Ignotus Peverell. Cool story, huh?
Blood Status: Pureblood, though I really don’t care much for the prejudices surrounding all that blood stuff.

PLACES
Birthplace: Godric’s Hollow
Residence1/Dates of Occupancy: If I was born there, don’t you think that would qualify as my first residence at least?
Schools Attended: Hogwarts of course.
Place of Comfort: The Quidditch pitch for the most part. I also like hanging out on the grounds of Hogwarts.

AFFILIATIONS
House in School: Gryffindor, just like my dad! I’m so glad I got the good house. The hat nearly put me in Slytherin, can you imagine that? Ugh, the horror.
Occupation: Student, Marauder, Harasser to the Professors, Future World Quidditch Star, maybe Future Auror…
Hobbies/Likes: Pranks and Quidditch pretty much sums that up.
Pet Peeves/Dislikes: Nearly anything relating to a certain ugly greasy git, gets on my nerves. I especially dislike Dark Magic.
Clubs: The Marauders is sort of a club, don’t you think? Oh and Quidditch, I’ve been on the Quidditch team since my second year. Oh, and I did manage to get myself invited to Slughorn’s little parties once or twice. I don’t think he appreciated the birds I transfigured from all the little bread crumbs that had stuck to his velvet coat the first time I did go. At least it managed to get me ignored for several years.
Special Recognition: I was made Quidditch Captain in my sixth year. And Head Boy in my seventh.

RELATIONSHIPS
Sexual Orientation: What? We’re still going over this? I’m male, okay? I’m not just going to up and fall for another bloke. Especially when there’s some definite eye-candy present in the form of Evans.
Previous Partner(s): That… sounds… kinda… kinky. I mean, why would you even be asking that?
Current Partner/Love Interest: Lily Evans. Haven’t you picked up on that by now? She is my one true love, the apple of my eye, my dream within a dream, and the absolute perfect girl for me.
Pets: An eagle owl, a present from my parents.
Best Friend: Sirius Black. Peter and Remus rank quite close, but Sirius and I are the closest.
Friends: Oh, I have loads of those. Sirius, Peter, Remus, Cayden, Ariel, Marlene, Emmeline, Mary, Alice, Frank, Kingsley, and many, many more.
Acquaintances: Probably the whole of Hogwarts has an acquaintance with me. I’m extremely popular, you must realize.
Rival/Enemy: The Slytherins, or more specifically Snivellus Snape and his little gang of wannabe Death Eaters. I have several Quidditch rivals, but I beat them all.
Other Non-Family Relationships: Nope, I think that covers everyone.
Reputation: What do people think of me? I’m the golden boy that gets almost everything he wants. Quidditch hero and captain, co-founder of the Marauders, and the pest in Lily Evans’s side.

DISPOSITION
Personality - positive characteristics: Let me see, what haven’t I mentioned yet? Brave, caring, intelligent, outspoken, loyal, supportive, kind at times, mischievous, inventive, a leader, proud, confident, but overall brave.
Personality - negative characteristics: Lily could probably tell you these easier than I could. Godric knows she must have that whole rant memorized by now. I think the things she tends to emphasize are my arrogance, bigheadedness, contempt for those that can’t survive, determination to gain her as my girl, and my excessive need to show off my many talents. Hey, cool, put in that order, her rant starts the ABCs. And yes, I’ve heard it so many times, I just tend to sit back and enjoy the show. Although, something I dearly hope she hasn’t picked up on yet is the fact that I tend to make fun of people I’m jealous of. Definitely don’t want her figuring that one out.
Intelligence: I’m really, really smart. Maybe even a genius at times. Wait, did you say this was just for school? Fine. Like I said earlier, I’m a veritable expert at Transfiguration. Might have something to do with my wand, might have something to do with my natural talent. Defense Against the Dark Arts is another strong subject for me. Honestly, if I care to put forth the effort, I can easily get 100s or Os on any subject. Except perhaps Potions… but then again, I tend to want to follow my own rules rather than those written down in the book. How come Lily can do that, and her potions turn out perfect, but when I try to do it, everything explodes? Not that I’m knocking the explosion, mind you. I like things exploding. Especially Snape. Whoa, I got off topic.
Behavior: I must talk too much because this seems to go back to things I already mentioned or stuff you should be able to work out for yourself. Only other things I can think of to mention right now, is that I love humor, and I’m very loud.
Habits: Oh, so this is where the hair ruffling thing should be mentioned. In my defense, my dad started it. He would always tousle my hair whenever he thought I was being funny or mischievous. It was already too messy to care if he messed it up. So when I got to Hogwarts, I started to run my hands through my hair whenever I missed him, whenever we did something funny or mischievous, and whenever I felt particularly nervous. I hate being nervous when I want to impress a certain someone.
Speech/Accent/Voice: I like to think of my voice as being sexy and deep. Lily usually abuses me of that notion pretty quickly if Sirius and Peter and Remus don’t.
Strengths: Honestly, are you sure Evans isn’t around to smack me? By the third or fourth time I start singing my praises, someone smacks me. Thanks, Peter. But I didn’t actually want to get smacked. Never mind, Pete. Anyway, these are all things I’ve gone over before. I mean, I could go on about my expert dueling tactics, but really, I’ve sort of gone over everything already. Does this mean this test is nearly finished?
Weaknesses/Insecurities: Drat. Then you had to go and bring up that. We were getting along so nicely too.

BACKSTORY
Nothing’s really happened to my back, besides following me around all the time.

Alright, fine. I’ll tell you what you want to know. I was born and raised in Godric’s Hollow. My parents are older than most, and so keeping up with me when I was little was a trial for them. I was a mischievous little brat, based on the stories they tell of those days. But of course, I was also adorable enough to get away with practically anything. And if I got my way a bit too often, blame it on my natural charms. As the only child, I’ve been the center of attention at home for most of my life. I have always been loved, cared for, and nurtured. I’ve always loved Quidditch. I think my toy broom is still out in the shed, in a place of honor. Of course, a lot of the things I’ve owned still occupy a place of honor somewhere.

Yes, I’m spoiled. Yes, I’ve lived a charmed and golden life thus far. Yes, I’m the only one out of the Marauders that can stake a claim to having had a “normal” life. Pete doesn’t know what “normal” is; Remus is a werewolf; and I would hope for everyone’s sake that Sirius’s home life isn’t repeated very often. But yes, I’ve played, made friends, gathered my share of worms and apples, and was frequently up to no good. What do you expect from a budding Marauder?

MAGICAL ME
Wand: 11 inch mahogany wand with a dragon heartstring core. It is pliable and excellent for Transfiguration.
Memory caused by Dementors: I don’t have any specific memories come to mind when Dementors are around me. I just feel the despair and a general uneasiness and unpleasant thoughts.
Memory used for Patronus: The first time Lily smiled at me, I mean, really smiled. I was with Sirius, Peter, and Remus, and Lily was beaming at me.
Form of Patronus: I believe it would be obvious, given that my Animagus form is a stag, to assume that my Patronus form mirrors it.
Boggart: I… don’t… like… snakes. I got bitten by one once. Not a pleasant experience. However, my worst fear (Shhh! No one knows this for certain, not even Sirius) is betrayal. Whether it is an unintentional betrayal, say, of your body during a Quidditch match, or an intentional betrayal, say, of a friend. I fear both being betrayed, and accidentally betraying someone else.
Riddikulus: The boggarts I’ve faced usually stick with depicting the snake, so I end up forcing the snake to tap dance. Quite an interesting phenomenon watching something that doesn’t possess feet tap dancing, or trying to anyway.
Amortentia: Sugar quill, broomstick handle, and raspberry.
Mirror of Erised: Lily is my wife, my friends are by my side, and everyone I care about is safe.

I do have a Sirius nature that won't be denied, what can I say. ^_^

ah, well, most of this I already knew and already reacted too. So for fun. I'll list 4 things I do when get bored and/or when I'm avoiding my homework. Generally I take breaks from it when I'm bored/tired of it so with me it is basically the same thing. But I there are some people who tend to view them as different things so yeah ...

1) I go to sleep. Usually I'll be writing or reading to wind down, and if I'm truly tired I'll take some sleeping meds. When I wake up I get right back to work.

2) I make icons and such in my photoshop. I like to take screencaps of movies and tvshows I have on dvd to let me have fun with the software. It is a rather fun way to blow off time and get my mind off of something that's bugging me.

3) I call up friends and annoy them. (just kidding, they love it when I call them - I get loads of messages just to do that, so apparently I haven't been choosing this option as much as I used to)

4) I write something or I find something to organize. Anything will do, but usually it is online with one of my guilds or communities or around my room. I do this when I need to keep a focused mind on stuff but I want a break from a specific mode of thought.

Editing posts for spelling/grammar mistakes, and providing more canon memories/statements from the books, would both be beneficial for the guild, so I totally support those as solutions for your boredom! razz

I interpret some of the characters differently from how they're being played as well. You can put up the profiles you've already made if you wish since Suze and I are playing them and we won't be offended (at least I doubt Suze would be), but I don't recommend you sharing any profiles that you might wind up making for any other other characters. Creating profiles for characters that other players have already worked hard to make could come across as "I don't like so-and-so's version of this character. Here's my version." From RP-ing with you for so long, I realise that you'd never want to hurt anyone's feelings, which is why it doesn't bother me. I'm just saying that it may be perceived in that manner, and wind up bothering someone else; no one wants that. Anyway, I might read your extra profiles if I ever have time. My life has been extremely busy lately, so I won't get to anytime soon.

Yeah well, at least you know that I'm only doing this to emphasize how differently profiles of the same characters could feel, not that I'm suggesting that my way is better. And that's also why this is in an unnamed forum rather than the general players one. And I think the only extension I would make if the boredom still strikes after I finish Sev and Remus's profiles would be for unclaimed characters which are not likely to be claimed. If anyone objects to me doing this or does claim the extra characters, I can and will take them down.
PostPosted: Thu Mar 25, 2010 8:58 pm

((Unfortunately, I'm not sure if I succeeded with creating an altogether different profile. Admittedly, you will recognize a lot of this from Min's profile, although I hope to have given it a different tone in some areas and brought out different facets of Remus's character. However, this is precisely why I will never attempt Sirius's. Remus's was too hard to make different. Anyway, I'm bored, so up this goes.))

Marauders' Role Play Character Application

NAME & AGE
First: Remus
Middle: John
Last: Lupin
Maiden: (if applicable) Definitely not applicable.
Origin of Name: Remus is part of a Roman legend who was raised by a she-wolf. Lupin comes from Lupine (a French word derived from the Latin lupus) meaning “resembling the wolf.” I have to ask—were my parents jinxing me? Oh, and John is my father’s name.
Nickname: My friends call me Moony. Peeves calls me ‘Loony Loopy Lupin,’ but I’m not sure that counts.
Age: Typical—eleven years old when I start Hogwarts, etc.
Birth date: 10 March 1960
Zodiac: Pisces

IDENTITY & APPEARANCE
Gender: Male
Height: I hover between Sirius and James’s heights.
Weight: I can eat whatever I want and still be too light no matter what my age is. The energy needed for transformation uses it all.
Body Type: slight
Hair: light brown, almost shoulder-length, so that means it’s only slightly shorter than Sirius’s when he’s feeling happy.
Eye Color: A light brown. Might be hazel like James, but I haven’t cared to check.
Ethnicity: English
Handicaps/Disabilities: Alright, for the sake of this interview, I suppose I’ll answer this truthfully. Being a werewolf. It’s pointless to deny it, although I hate it. It really stinks though, especially when you’re trying to do honest work. I didn’t choose to be this, I assure you.
Special Abilities: Sorry, nothing too special about me.
Other Distinguishing Features: I try to cover up all the scars.
Mode of Dress: Patched robes and long sleeved-shirts and long trousers no matter what the weather. I can’t afford to have anyone see a scar. I like the fact that England and Scotland are so chilly most of the school year that I can easily get away with that and not look out of place too often.

FAMILY
Mother: Mary Ann Lupin, a Muggleborn witch
Father: John Randall Lupin, a Pureblood wizard
Adoptive/Step Parents: Perhaps the Potters, I’m not sure.
Siblings: I have none. And that is most likely because of my lycanthropy.
Notable Extended Family: Notable to the Wizarding World? None, but my Muggle Gram makes great desserts, which is notable in my opinion.
Blood Status: half-blood– I love it because I understand almost all Muggle and Wizarding references.

PLACES
Birthplace: Leics, England
Residence1/Dates of Occupancy: Cottage in Great Wood miles outside Dalham
Schools Attended: None before Hogwarts
Place of Comfort: behind a book – It doesn’t matter where I physically am if I can mentally be elsewhere. I am unusually comfortable in the Hospital Wing, and on the edge of the Forbidden Forest. Those are probably due to the time I spend there on a regular basis.

AFFILIATIONS
House in School: Gryffindor.
Occupation: Student, Order Member, and various other jobs before I got fired for taking too much sick leave.
Hobbies/Likes: reading, chocolate, privacy, forests, research (only if it’s something interesting or useful), chocolate, making mischief (the kind that doesn’t hurt anyone), rare meat, and dancing (Please, don’t tell my friends that one; I’d never live it down!) Have I mentioned chocolate?
Pet Peeves/Dislikes: loss of self-control, being the center of attention, and loud, crowded places
Clubs: None in school. I didn’t want to commit to something I’d have to be absent for every month…Wait, do the Marauders count as a ‘club?’
Special Recognition: Prefect, though I have no idea why since I was a dismal one.

RELATIONSHIPS
Sexual Orientation: I still feel that my kind shouldn’t breed, but I’m straight.
Previous Partner(s): I wouldn’t tell, even if there was someone.
Current Partner/Love Interest: When do I have time for that?
Pets: None that are specifically mine. We have a family owl that is quite reliable in spite of its age.
Best Friend: James, Sirius, and Peter
Friends: There are only a select few, like Lily and Ariel, that I would consider general friends.
Acquaintances: Almost everyone in Gryffindor. A few Ravenclaws in my year, and a couple Hufflepuffs.
Rival/Enemy: I try not to hate anyone. What’s the use of having anger weigh on you every day? Well, I suppose Greyback is an exception, but he, thankfully, does not enter my thoughts too often.
Other Non-Family Relationships: Dumbledore has my admiration and gratitude.
Reputation: If Sirius is the “sexy one,” James is the “golden one,” and Peter’s the one that “tags along,” I suppose I must be the “quiet one.” *chuckles* How little they know.

DISPOSITION
Personality - positive characteristics: I try to be patient, courteous, and nonjudgmental. I’m intelligent and witty, too.
Personality - negative characteristics: I seek the approval of loved ones more than I should, but I like to be liked. I feel guilty over things that others insist aren’t my fault, but how can that be right? I can clearly see it is my fault. I’m stubborn about certain things. I also have a problem with trust.
Intelligence: I’m good at history because I enjoy it, and good at Defense since I work hardest at it because I know that I must be able to defend myself. I’m absolutely abysmal at Potions; I understand the theory just fine, but even if I work carefully I can’t make the brews correctly. Also, you will never find me in a Divination class. I’d much rather protect my secrets than expose them. Even if everyone informs me that Divination is just a load of hogwash, I can’t let myself take that risk.
Behavior: I work very hard in an attempt to not disappoint anyone. And to catch up on the work I inevitably miss because of my condition.
Habits: I rub my quill against my chin when I’m thinking of what to write.
Speech/Accent/Voice: It’s hoarse when I’m tired... and I’m tired often.
Strengths: I have excellent self-control. I hate losing control as the wolf, so as a human I exert a great deal of it. Apparently, I’m good at explaining things too, for after fellow students ask me to explain a homework problem they almost always understand it.
Weaknesses/Insecurities: Werewolves are so monstrous that when my friends tell me that they’re fine with it I still worry someday they’ll realize that I’m not worth it.

BACKSTORY
I’ve always been a little too curious. It’s a trait that my friends like to exploit in me for their mischievous plots, and what ultimately led to my bite. I boldly and rashly went out in the woods upon hearing noises, and…and, well, I don’t want to talk about it, but the rest – as they say - is history.

I was four years old when I was bitten. Knowing from experience that werewolves have no control when transformed, I bore no ill-will towards the werewolf who bit me…until I got older and my parents had no choice but to tell me the story of how my father had offended Greyback, and the probability that Greyback had followed through on his threat and bitten me intentionally.

My father has been spending what fortune he has on trying to find a cure for me. My mother quit working so she could stay home to take care of me (I was often sick, and injured myself more when I was young since my body was less accustomed to the transformations.) and teach me. I’m now quite used to taking various potions and being prodded with wands before my monthly transformation in hopes that the spells or potions will have some effect. So far, nothing has helped, but my parents remain hopeful.

My parents agreed that I couldn’t go to a Muggle school because my absences and injuries would make teachers suspicious. As a result, I never interacted with other children and didn’t make friends. But I didn’t mind; I had books to read. Mum and Dad told me how most wizards wouldn’t accept me if they knew I was werewolf, so I liked books not only because they took me through time and across continents, but because they were reliable companions. Besides, I’ve never read a book that could tell anyone else’s secrets.

When Dumbledore came to our home and explained that I could go to Hogwarts, my father was so grateful, but Mum was reluctant about me getting proper care without her. I love both of my parents dearly, however, they’re quite overprotective, and even I grew quite flustered when they continuously told me about how careful I needed to be. Although Dumbledore didn’t wish it, he might have to deal out harsh punishments, even expulsion if my condition became known among the students and parents. My parents are both intelligent people, but I'm glad that they were wrong about assuming no one would accept my condition.

MAGICAL ME
Wand: Fig, Unicorn hair, Eleven and a half inches
Memory caused by Dementors: The night I was bitten by Greyback, transforming and loosing control.
Memory used for Patronus: The first time I trusted that my friends accepted my lycanthropy.
Form of Patronus: A lion. Representative of all the Gryffindors that protected me and my secret, I suppose.
Boggart: Full moon. I’ve been told it sort of looks like a crystal ball, though. At least that’s a nice red herring.
Riddikulus: It’s easy to make the moon wink out like a Muggle light bulb, or make the moon turn into a balloon or something like that.
Amortentia: I smell chocolate, honeysuckle, and the scents of the forest.
Mirror of Erised: I see myself as a human under the moonlight. My greatest desire is to be normal again, as impossible as that might be.

Marauders' Role Play Character Application

NAME & AGE
First: Severus
Middle: Tobias
Last: Snape
Maiden: Do you expect me to take you seriously? Or did I mistakenly get handed the witch’s edition of this questionnaire?
Origin of Name: ‘Severus’ has obvious connotations of severity and strictness. There are also several saints with the name ‘Severus.’
‘Tobias’ is my father’s name.
‘Snape’ is an English village.
((Snape (v.) – ‘to be hard upon, rebuke, snub,’ c.1300, from Old Norse ‘sneypa:’ ‘to outrage, dishonor, disgrace.’ Also, sneap: to n**; pinch; put down; repress; snub))
Nickname: Lily shortens my name to ‘Sev’ at times, Potter and his lot call me Snivellus to ridicule me, but my favorite nickname comes from a pun I created on my mother’s maiden name: ‘The Half-Blood Prince.’
Age: Figure it out.
Birth date: January 9, 1960
Zodiac: Capricorn

IDENTITY & APPEARANCE
Gender: This is something you should already know, or something you should figure out quite quickly before I hex you.
Height: Honestly, why do you need to know?
Weight: I doubt I have any to spare.
Body Type: Thin.
Hair: Black, stringy, usually around shoulder length. I don’t really care to take care of it too often.
Eye Color: Black. Or as close to black as you can come.
Ethnicity: I may look a little sallow, but I’m British.
Handicaps/Disabilities: Do you expect me to answer this question and give you weaknesses to exploit?
Special Abilities: I have a propensity for curses, but however you might try to twist it, NO, Black, I am not a vampire. I am no Animagus either, no matter how many times you compare me to a bat or a spider.
Other Distinguishing Features: That wretched hooked nose, inherited from my father.
Mode of Dress: I prefer to wear Wizarding Robes, but when I’m at home I usually got handed a variety of hand-me-downs from my parents.

FAMILY (May include just names or opinions of relatives.)
Mother: Eileen (Prince) Snape
Father: Tobias Snape
Adoptive/Step Parents: None. I don’t relax my guard easily. Probably the closest that could be considered would be the Evanses.
Siblings: I have none. Thank Merlin.
Notable Extended Family: Through the Prince bloodline, I am related to Lucius Malfoy and various other Purebloods.
Blood Status: Half-blood, but I don’t mention it. Except in my little play on words. I am the Half-Blood Prince. That at least sounds good.

PLACES
Birthplace: Most likely I was born in a nearby Muggle hospital to Spinner’s End, but as my parents don’t tell stories about my birth, I have no way of knowing.
Residence1/Dates of Occupancy: The house down Spinner’s End is the only house I remember living in.
Schools Attended: My Mother leant me various books after she taught me to read, and I kind of self-taught myself from there. I wasn’t allowed to go to Muggle schools. However, I do attend Hogwarts.
Place of Comfort: If it is back in Manchester, I would probably pick the playground by Lily’s house, or the woods by the river closer to mine. At Hogwarts you could probably find me in the dungeons or the library.

AFFILIATIONS
House in School: Slytherin.
Occupation: Currently a student.
Hobbies/Likes: The Dark Arts are fascinating. Some say I have a bit of an obsession with them.
Pet Peeves/Dislikes: I would honestly do anything not to have Peeves as a pet. Anything to do with Potter and his lot—pranks, bullying, and other harassment.
Clubs: I’m technically a member of the Slug Club, though sometimes I wonder if Lily persuaded Professor Slughorn to invite me. Or Lucius. He could have put in a word with Slughorn. Also, us Slytherins have formed our own club of sorts, keeping an eye on the rising of that Voldemort character.
Special Recognition: Do you get trophies for being distinctly unpopular? Anyway, no special recognitions for me. I tend to blend into the background too well.

RELATIONSHIPS
Sexual Orientation: I dislike this question. Do you honestly want to get hexed?
Previous Partner(s): Are you talking Potions partners?
Current Partner/Love Interest: Oh love interest. I’m going to have to maim you if I tell you. Do you still want to know?
Pets: With my father? Hah.
Best Friend: Lily Evans
Friends: I wouldn’t call them friends exactly, but I have made various alliances with Lucius Malfoy, Avery, Mulciber, Rabastan Lestrange, Bellatrix Black, Narcissa Black, and other Slytherins in my house. Slytherin is a house of alliances not friends.
Acquaintances: Everyone in my classes pretty much knows who I am, even if I’m not liked very much.
Rival/Enemy: Potter. Black. Lupin. Pettigrew. I could make a more detailed list if you’d like.
Other Non-Family Relationships: Is this for the people I must tolerate but don’t particularly like? Because that is most of the student body, and the professors.
Reputation: As I overheard Pettigrew say once to a Hufflepuff, I’m that weirdo kid that is obsessed with the Dark Arts. The Dark Arts are fascinating, but I wouldn’t say I’m obsessed. Black went on a little one time about how I knew more curses as a first year than most seventh years. But that just means Black knew those exact same curses, because he recognized them. So who was he to judge?
Is it bad that I take the reputation thing from Black and Pettigrew? I’m unpopular with my year, and I think it’s because of the lies Potter’s lot spread about me.

DISPOSITION
Personality - positive characteristics: I’m smart, cunning, diplomatic for the most part, and strong. I don’t wear my emotions on my sleeve like some foolish Gryffindor, but I am no coward either.
Personality - negative characteristics: My pride and my tendency to react with anger will doom me eventually.
Intelligence: I enjoy riddles that test my intelligence. I tend to excel in Defense Against the Dark Arts, Potions, Arithmancy, and Ancient Runes. My worst subjects tend to be History of Magic, Care of Magical Creatures, and Herbology.
Behavior: Brooding is a natural state of being for me, as is sarcasm and sneering.
Habits: I habitually lay on my bed and shoot down flies when I’m brooding, or bored.
Speech/Accent/Voice: I don’t talk very loud. It’s extremely rare that you ever hear me shout. Usually when I’m angry my voice gets even quieter.
Strengths: I am good at dueling, and memorization. I am also good at thinking up new spells. I’ve invented a couple myself.
Weaknesses/Insecurities: Again, I’m not going to sit and provide ammunition. I have my weaknesses and insecurities, but I’m not going to tell you what they are.

BACKSTORY
This is something that is usually better left unspoken. My mother and father argue a lot, and a lot of the time it escalates from there. I’ve been left to fend for myself more times than I can count during these fights. Overall, not a particularly happy childhood.

I first noticed Lily Evans when I was eight. Watching her interact with her sister or other children gave me my first real goal. I wanted to figure out why she was so kind to everyone. I kept watching her when I could. And I discovered something I actually had in common with Lily. She could do magic. She was definitely from an all Muggle family, because she had no sense to hide what she could do with that magic.

Finally, I craved that kindness so much that I put a plan in motion. I would approach her, either when she was alone or when she was just with her sister and reveal to her what she truly was. She would surely show me the same kindness that she showed everyone else. I hadn’t counted on her sister’s prejudices.

It took me a while longer to gain Lily’s trust and acceptance than I had first expected, but I was finally able to build up a relationship where I could introduce her to all the cool things of the Wizarding World and impress her with my knowledge. Her sister continued to be a pest, though. And Petunia several times nearly ruined our fragile friendship that was just beginning to form.

But somehow I was able to keep my sanity and temper intact and be able to go to Hogwarts.

MAGICAL ME
Wand: Phoenix feather, eleven and three quarter inches long, made of Ash. After getting it, I noticed my wand has a natural twist in the grain of the wood. Ollivander also mentioned that it was kind of stiff.
Memory caused by Dementors: I have plenty of memories that I don’t care to think about.
Memory used for Patronus: It’s not really one memory, but several. All centering on my friendship with Lily.
Form of Patronus: A doe.
Amortentia: If you must know, I smell Lily’s hair, pumpkin pasties, and wood.
Mirror of Erised: If you know me truly you would already know my hearts desire. I’ll give you a hint. My first and last names make an anagram not unlike this one. Rearrange it correctly, and find my heart’s desire.
Boggart: Well, certainly not me in a dress, if that’s what you’re thinking. Seriously, I don’t let myself be troubled by boggarts, the worst they’d probably show is shampoo or something.
Riddikulus: Yes. This is ridiculous. Why in the world am I even still talking? Wait… the tea that you gave me at the start… You’ve tricked me! I’ll not say a word more.
