The scenario is pretty simple. If anyone here has read Fushigi Yugi Genbu Kaiden, or at least, the beginning of it, you'll know what I'm talking about.
As I was reading about Takiko's first encounter with Rumido for a second time, I couldn't help but look at it, and think: This would be a cool beginning for a Yuri series. Innocent, intriguing, but sexy all at once. So then I thought about it, and figured, why not?
Now, I don't want this to be another Fushigi Yugi RP. Just the first scenario can give birth to many possibilities, so that part is the same: A girl lost in the mountains and/or forest stumbles upon another girl chained to be executed by any animals or creatures and what not, saves her, then we can start from there.
I want to play the "criminal," since I already have the background in mind. Weather the opposite player wants their character from another world, or just another country... well, guess that's your choice. No magical powers though, those tend to get out of hand. If you wanna be ninja or something though, go right on ahead. I was kind of going on that at least. xd
I would prefer someone literate... only because I have no idea what "semi-literate" is supposed to mean. So you can only write well half the time? It just seems like an odd term to pop up around Gaia... I'd think a paragraph or two is reasonable in the beginning at least, don't you?
So, yeah, anyone interested?

I would love to; however, I'm usually here on only weekends due to work and school scheduling unless I end up lucky. Is that all right?

That's fine. I'm pretty busy myself. I'll just make a note to keep this on weekends.
The clouds were waiting to boil.
The entire forest was dark with the near black sky blocking the sun and sky. An angry wind whistled through trees and mountain range, sending a flurry of leaves and dust about. The animals of the woods were huddled, or hiding, knowing to hide, though they couldn't be sure whether this would be a harmless passing, or a major storm.
Dark sea-green eyes stared up at sky as her ebony black hair whipped in the wind. Her averagely sized, but athletically built body was shivering, but she was unable to pull her arms in due to their stretched and bound positions. Stretched spread-eagled against the stone monument left her numb with no protection, and unable to clear the dried blood from her face and ripped clothes. The chains would have rattled, but they were too taut, even after hanging for so long. The green eyes closed briefly, as another gust smacked sand into her face.

The strong winds whipped the olive-skinned woman's cloak about her as she clutched the handle of her tall blade. Crimson eyes peered through the bangs of short white hair grimly at the vast array of trees about her. 'What.. is this place?' Her eyes darted uncomfortably around her, squinting through the leaves and dust blowing about, as a subtle hint of dread slithered down her spine. Shaking it off, she started walking in hopes to get out of the prison of trees. Her eyes and ears strained to catch any possible hint of ambush, but none was evident during her hike. Only the thickening trees were there to keep her company. After a while of walking, the woman's boots and blade scrapped against the gravel of a clearing. Startled by the sudden break, she clutched the handle tighter, her eyes quickly taking in the new scenery. An odd figure caught her attention, something she couldn't make out where she stood. Ignoring the stinging of bare skin that wasn't wrapped up, she started to make her way cautiously towards the object of her curiosity.

Her attention did feel a little strained.
It was hard to keep her eyes open, even without the light sand threatening her eyes. The wind was sure of that. She'd have shivered, but she long ago lost feeling. Would she die of frostbite before her sentence was properly carried out? And she couldn't hear anything over the sting of the wind. So when she first opened her eyes to see a figure approaching, she thought she was hallucinating.
She blinked several times, before she could see that the shadow was still there. The figured chained to the massive stone took one deep breath, before releasing her breath and straightening her head from it's bowed position. She narrowed her eyes slightly, and set her mouth in a grim line, gliding over her tiredness and weakness for a facade of bravado. Whatever they wanted, she would not let them see her in a weakened state. She would not let them think she was defeated spiritually as well as physically.

She squinted her eyes as she came closer to the figure. Taken aback, she rubbed her eye harshly, hoping what she saw was just an illusion. Opening her eyes, anger rose through her cool body seeing that there was someone chained so cruely to stone. She grabbed the hilt of her sword and rushed the remaining distance to the figure, abandoning all other thought. Panting, she stood several feet from the stone. 'Oh dearest Goddess...' She gasped as her posture slackened. Before her was a weather-beaten girl, her expression harsh. "I will not allow this to go on any longer," she growled to herself through grit teeth as she pulled her blade out from over her shoulder. Effortlessly she swung at the chains that bound the girl's feet.

So this was how she was to go, then. Perhaps the beasts' migration was found to be off and they grew impatient for the chance to take her body back. She did not let her hardened gaze diminish even as the swordsman barreled headlong to her.
Swordswoman. The executioner was female, as her tired eyes could make out once she came close enough. The short hair and weapons from a distance had made her think otherwise. Her features were foreign. A hired mercenary? A beautiful one at that.
She grit her teeth at the woman's solemn declaration, and the drawing of her blade. Well, it beat hanging and dying slowly of starvation and dehydration. For a second she thought the woman would cut off her legs, and let the blood attract any hungry predators. So when she heard the echoing clink of metal, her mask flickered for a second in surprise as the links bent and stretched from the force of the swing. They opened, but did not break. The woman's statement haunted her suddenly, and she realized with a flash what was happening.
"Just what the hell are you doing?" Her voice was raspy with lack of sleep and water. "Are you trying to get them after you too? Leave before you're eaten alive!"

Hearing the voice, she stopped and looked up at the girl. With a smirk she replied, "Them? The one's that have done this to you? Let them come. This time I will kill them all." Her eyes darkened as she grit her teeth and took up her sword once more, smashing the blade down on the chains. "I will never flee again."

She clenched her teeth as the chains stretched her body again, and the metal broke and snapped from the blow. A couple chains broke from the attack, loosening the binds around her middle. Her breath hitched from the sudden jerk and release. But her jade eyes glowered down. "Not them, fool, I mean the-" She stopped as a low and deadly growl reverberated through the clearing. "The beasts." The single growl slowly grew into a chorus. Glinting yellow eyes slowly peered out from the trees, and rustled the foliage as they stepped out.

She stopped, turning towards the sound. "So they will try to oppose me then..." She untied the hold of the cloak, letting it fall to the ground. Her arms and chest were wrapped tightly in weathered cloth, her brown slack were also beaten and torn, and her dark skin was decorated with various silver scars. She bowed her head, muttering with a hint of sorrow, "Alta, please forgive me," and braced herself, awaiting the beasts first move.

Alta- a deity? A religious warrior? Wouldn't matter, in a minute strength and cunning would be the only important attribute. Let's see if those scars came to mean something. The reddish brown glint of fur ruffled in the high winds as the beasts stepped out into the half light of the stormy sky. The yellow eyes glittered with hunger, and their black lips pulled back in a snarl. At first just a half dozen prowled out, two being the most center near the warrior and prisoner, the rest coming out toward the left as their pack entered. Their front legs were skinny and lithe, despite their almost bulky and hunched appearance. Two attacked, one from the front and one from the far left, darting up in a frontal attack as the rest jogged to come in at different sides and surround he two women viewed as prey.

Her expression went blank. Adrenaline pulsed through her veins as she quickly swung her heavy blade at the closest beast, tearing the creature into two. Immediately her feet scrapped against the ground, regaining new footing to support her next swing at the second attacker. Without a single word she took the two lives, her eyes darting from one of the farther creatures to another as she wait, anticipating their next move.

Jaded green hazed while the two beasts were slayed. She blinked and shook her head quickly, trying to keep her attention up and the loose strands of black away from her face. Even adrenaline seemed to be abandoning her. Perhaps because instinctively she was relying on the extra protection. Gingerly she pulled at the chains across her thighs and chest. It was probably her imagination, but she could have sworn she felt the slightest give. Feeling a wild and risky flare of hope, she began experimenting with each limb, seeing what chain pulled on what, and seeing if the break would be enough to give just the right amount of leverage she needed for escape.
In the mean time, the remaining four beasts had already bounded up. They kept to the front, two remaining low, though one swerved tot he side, and one jumping nearly three meters high into an aerial assault. The fourth came up for the right flank and dove for a direct attack between the warrior, and the woman in chains behind her.
